MY COLLEGE EXPERIENCE

To avail of a scholarship in LPU, you have to score >95% in jee mains or > 130 marks in lpunest based on you marks you will ger scholarships. Higher the marks higher the scholarships and vice versa. And the most important and benefiting for students in lpu is it provides internships and placements.

I chose MACHINE LEARNING. As we all know it is the next big thing to happen and I thought why not take a bite. The faculty is very friendly with students. They are always willing to help the students to solve their problems. For class, there will/maybe around 60-75 students. It varies from class to class. And the faculty are highly qualified I mean their Ph.D. teachers. By this, you can understand the quality of education you will/ was providing for a student.

I got an internship in amazon India and the stipend is around 30k. I did a project about titanic survival prediction using machine learning. My project is about how many people would have survived in titanic by using some machine learning techniques. And the techniques are decision trees, regression, etc.

students are eligible for campus placements from the 3rd year( 6th semester). They can attend interviews for placements. So far 80 companies visited our campus and the highest package is 45L per annum and the average package is around 3L. The percentage of students getting placements are around 86%. my plans after getting my degree are to pursue an ms in a foreign country(UK) and get a job and settle there.

If we look into fees structure in my point of view after government college and iit's it's the best fees structure they designed. It's payable fees. Total fees for very sem is 90k and there's a curl if you score better marks in lpunest or jee mains you can get a 50% scholarship. As I told you lpu provides the best education along with it. It provides campus placements with good stipends. As you know placements clearing is based on our talent.

If we talk about the library we the lpu have the best features, all the books that are necessary for students and all the process is done on the internet. Coming to sports no one can beat lpu regarding the facilities it provides for students vast grounds, indoor games like swimming pools, skating and coming to outdoor games we have like football, cricket, polo and many more.

LPU holds the record for the largest residential facilities for students in the world. it provides for both boys and girls. Like 1 seater(A.C) 1.5L, 2 seater(A.C) 1.10L (NON-AC)-95K, 3 seater(A.C)-95K (Non-A.C)-80K, 4 seater(A.C)-80K (Non-A.C)-70K, 5 seater(A.C)-75K (Non-A.C)-65K, 6 seater(A.C)-75K (NON-AC)-65k, and it provides apartment 1 seater apartment- 1.90L, 2 seater apartment- 1.30L, 3 seater apartment- 1.10L, 4 seater apartment- 90k and LPU provides dormitory 2 to 8 seater- 45k, 10 to 15 seater- 40k, 16 seater and onwards-35k. And coming to the menu lpu provides both north India and south India dishes which are quite good.
