Remarks

I am a student of BTech in artificial intelligence and data science 2nd semester of this college. I took admission in the 2021 batch. The teachers here are helpful and friendly. I am having a great experience here.

Course Curriculum Overview

I choose this course because of my interest in artificial intelligence. I am not so sure about the teacher student ratio but there are large teams of faculty for students. The faculty of the college is very much qualified for their work and their way of teaching is very helpful for students and they are very helpful for students. There are 3 exams in each semester 2 mid semester and a final semester exam. The difficulty of these exams is to check the understanding and knowledge of the students. If you are understanding everything it will be easy for you.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 90000 per year

Internships Opportunities

4.5

1 lakh pm is the highest stipend offered here in the college. Companies like byjus, hp, Infosys, and Wipro provide internships to students here. Many students opt for internships and projects. Many projects in the field of technology are concluded in the college.

Placement Experience

Placements are one of the major questions in mind before admission. From the 7th semester students becomes eligible for placements. Companies like byjus, Wipro, Asahi, hp other 757 + visit campus for placements. The highest package offered is 36 LPA and the average package is 7.08 LPA. About 90%+ students get placements here. My plan after getting a degree is to startup and college also supports students for startups.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee for my course is 45,000 for each semester. There are different scholarships for students. One can get a scholarship on basis of their 12th results. And after that, there are exams by the college for a scholarship which is called cgc josh. They also have financial assistance in which you can pay your fees on monthly basis.

Campus Life

4.5

There are a lot of clubs for students to be a part of like dance clubs, art clubs etc. There are also sports groups for students interested in sports. NCC and NSS are also there in the college for students interested in the army, navy or airforce or for social works. There are a lot of websites for students. A lot of science project groups and events for interested students.

Other Applied Colleges

Chitkara university | Btech cse

It was too costly for me.

The university provides good exposure to technical courses, eventrs , clubs, and extracurricular activities.
The campus has good labs, a library, and facilities that support students academic development.

The fees are high and losing a scholarship due to cgpa requirements can create a significant financial burden.
More personalized mentorship and regular career guidance sessions would help student prepare for their future carees.
more internship opportunities would further improve students professional growth.

Course Curriculum Overview:

the CSE curriculum covers relevant subjects and provides a good foundation programming and computer science. It prepares students for futher studies and careers, through more industry-based projects and practical learning would be bemigficial. Exams include MSTs and ESTs, with a manageable difficulty level through regi;ar preparation.

Placement Experience:

The placemnets in the university starts from the 3 year only. companies comes in the 3rd year, students= can give interviews in this year, and they can get the NOC. wich means you can go for the job or the iinternship and there is no need to take the classes, because you are taking the indyustry level experience in the prior basis also.

Dislikes

hectic schedules drain the soul of you .
frequent exams test that are totally unnecesary
attendance is another nuisance , having 75 percent is must

A TOUR TO CGC LANDRAN

Likes

Events are more frequent here and most of the stars from punjabi industry are called more often for film promotions
No ragging is there infact seniors are friendly and try to help juniors
TPP (training and placement program) is provided that help students to crack placements

Dislikes

Attendance criteria (minimum 75 % is essential to maintain to be eligible to give exams)
Class timings are fixed from 9:15 to 4:35 and you can not enter in between 10 to 12:00 PM as gates are closed for this duration
Strength is rapidly increasing as new courses are introduced which increases competition during placements

Placement Experience:

Placements are decent, from 6th semester students become eligible for campus placement students need to enroll in TPP(Training and placement program) in order to get eligible for campus placement, Many companies visit our campus for eg Capgemini, LNT, ZSCALER, EDIFECS, AMAZON, PWC, WATCHGUARD TECHNOLOGIES etc overall above 200 offerrs are made to our senior batch with the highest package of 32LPA and average package of around 4.5LPA. more than 60% of students get placed . I am also sitting for campus placement and wish to get placed soon

College Life is Fun, Various activities and events happen in and around college, you got to know about others and crowd is also decent, Mostly Students are from northern regions that is Himachal Pradesh, Punjab, Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand .
Teachers are good and placement coordinators also help students to get good package on campus. a decent package can be bagged by a student if he/she seriously study and obtain a decent CGPA in exam. Make sure you clear all exams till 8th semester.
Infrastructure Is also good, laboratories are fitted with new desktops and campus size is also decent, Tuck shops and various Canteens are available inside the campus. Also Central Library is there inside the campus where students can study in exam t

Dislikes

The curriculum for 1st and 2nd semester is purely based on subjects that you studied in 11th and 12th, the advance versions of those topics are there in 1st and 2nd semester which make it difficult for students to get good grades.
The placement in other branches like Mechanical, electrical is mere, and one can face difficult in getting on campus placement if he/she belongs to these streams. Also Lack of practical knowledge is there in these streams, Theory is more focused.
If one opt for hostels, then the hostel facilities are not as good as it should be , the mess food is pathetic and one can face difficulty if he/she opt for hostel, also campartively hostel fees are also very high, whereas nearby Pg's are cheaper

Placement Experience:

placement is good in our college. Aveage package is 400000, and average package for cse stream is approx 500000. Various companies like alstom, infosys, accenture, TCS, Wipro, amazon, Walmart, JP Morgan chase and co. etc visit campus every year and recruit students. Approx 300+ companies visit campus and above 80% of cse students are placed but In other streams like ECE.EE and ME etc placements are campartively lower and students face difficulty in order to get placed. MY plan is job oriented i also want to get placed on campus and hope so i will get placed in a good company.
