Remarks

The admission process is good . You can take admission in AKGEC through your CBSE or ICSE marks in class 12th . You can also take admission through your jee mains rank in counselling process of UPTU. you can find application form on the site of AKGEC . As the college is under AKTU cutoff is decided by uptu counselling process

Course Curriculum Overview

I choose this course because i wanted to be a data scientist. Faculty is good in AKGEC they are supportive each and every time . Teachers are highly qualified and teaching method is also good . In AKGEC there are two sessional tests and one Pre university test in a semester and are not so difficult to pass

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 142000 per year

Placement Experience

4.5

From 3rd year companies start visiting college for placements . Companies like wipro, infosys, amazon, microsoft etc . This year our college got 1.13 crore package by amazon, dublin. CSE AND IT has 100 % placement.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees for first year is about 1.4 lacs without hostel and university exam fees . Scholarships for those students who got admission through counselling and got fee waiver in counselling and there is as such no scholarship for without counselling students

Campus Life

There is no annual fest at akgec but there are some competetions like technical and coding. Sports facility in AKGEC are very good here you can play sports like cricket , badminton ,basketball etc . Software incubator club is best for coding geeks.

Hostel Facilities

You can register for hostel accommodation at the time of admission only. Hostel fees is quiet high (120000) in which 10000 is refundable . There is a craze for hostel in akgec so take it as soon as you can . There are pg available at sanchi (near to college)

Hostel Fee: INR 120000 per year

Overall Feedback for College - Admission , Placement , Course , Faculty , Events

Likes

the security is nice at my college like proper cctv and guards , apart from that labs , and my dept is too good. Ac classroom and labs
They have provided average placement like most of companies are mass hiring like tcs and accenture ..and only few companies come to offer big package
Infrastructure is good but there is need of reconstruction at some places the water is ticking in rain season continuously, and curriculum is okay okay not that much relevant to industry , they taught text books rather than the real practical cases

Dislikes

The examination checking - the student who is cr or having any relation with teachers got highest marks without writing the answer properly
The food canteen first of all the canteen is off from the past 1 or 2 year and now it reopen but it sells dirty food , waste foods
The college professor support , they are not that much supportive

Course Curriculum Overview:

coding I am interested in coding that why I offer this course It provide some courses but not all courses are related to real world they have to use practical examples and make students aware of the real industry According to me the time and frequency is okay of exam

Inside AKGEC Life

1) I had applied for colleges like jss noida,gl bajaj , kiet , akgec through UPTAC counselling for those who gave JEE Exam. i preferred this college because after reading reviews about it ,consulting senior students. 2) I could get this college based on my rank . I could not make it to other colleges because of their high cutoff for the CSE branch. 3) admission process includes direct admission where students are admiitted based on 10th,12th score and branches are alloted based on their score, 2nd is through the uptac counselling for students who want to get admission through JEE Score. overall admission experience was good....Read More

so bascially i didn't choose this college . i did mistake in my uptac counselling and get this college but when i studied here and seen all the aktu colleges i prefer this is good because it ranked 3 in up colleges .the college is ranked 3 in whole up and its naac A++ so yes its a great college so to get admission in akgec there are two ways by 10+2 percentage marks or by uptac counselling you have to fill your choices in uptac counselling so fill it very carefully without any mistake so the overall to get any cs/it branch your jee percentile should be above 88 and below that you can get any other core branches....Read More
