Things to know before joining Chitkara University

The admission process was smooth. I went through a screening process where my academic details were verified. I didn't give any entrance exams because of coronavirus. To be eligible for B.E CSE, you need to have secured at least 60 per cent in the 12th board exam. You can contact the university for the application procedure and any extra detail that you want.

The Course curriculum is interesting. I chose this course because I was interested in computers for a long time and wanted to study more about them. The faculty is very helpful. Teachers help us in every way possible and even guide us for the future. All Facility is almost PhD passed and teach in a very structured way. The end term exams are held after every 5 months and are quite easy for the one who has studied.

There are a lot of internship opportunities for students. The stipend ranges from 10,000 to 80,000. Companies like Amazon, and Google recruit students in the third year of the study. Students get to learn a lot of things from this. After internship if the company is happy with the student's work, they will offer him the job after completing the degree.

Students get eligible from the 6th semester. There are huge companies coming here for the placement including Google, Microsoft, Wipro, Amazon, Oyo, razor pay, etc. The highest package we get to see this month is of 1Cr. The placement is according to the CGPA. I want to join a good company after getting the degree but I'll try to take it from the placement.

The fees structure something goes like this. Every course fee is 75000 per semester or every 6 months excluding hostel charges. One achieving first, second or third position in academics, gets scholarships of 60%, 40%, and 30% respectively. For any more information, our administration is very helpful. Life at the campus is pretty interesting. There are a lot of fests that go on and pretty much. Every month there is a funky Friday or a DJ night. Along with that, there are special occasions where we held hackathons and codeathons or competitions for the computer students. There are a bunch of clubs you can join for extracurricular activities which will help in the interview.
