The college conducts its own entrance exam which consists of a written test (technical and aptitude) followed by group discussion and personal interview scores are not disclosed only selection is informed.The college provides a fusion of technical and managerial needs in the field of construction which was an important reason for joining the college. Besides, the institute boasts of 100% placement record which is a big deal in the field of civil engineering.

Curriculum is well designed as per the current industry needs, inspired by IIM A & MIT, USA and is constantly updated. The subjects in the course provide a good base for a new person entering the industry.The last 3 trimesters provide elective options with ample choices between Real Estate and Infrastructure. Research is also encouraged as students are supposed to submit a thesis, for which 6 8 months are allocated.

Yes after the first year ( the 3rd trimester), students go a for trimester of summer internship for a duration of 10 weeks. The process for which begins after the first trimester itself. The construction world's biggest name come and take students for summer internships and the Committee makes sure 100% students are provided with internships. The general stipend would be around 5k per month. The experience easily sums up the future as a comprehensive look at how the industry is experienced along with how the firm operates and also a good look into the work profile.

The college is mainly famous for the placement it provides almost 100% placement is achieved ( with around 700 students ) overseas companies such as L&T hydrocarbon, Al Tayer, Al Darwish, Shapoorji Pallonji International offering packages of around 14 15 LPA. And domestic giants like LODHA GROUP, GODREJ PROPERTIES, L&T REALTY, BRIGADE GROUP, OBEROI REALTY, L&T, SPCL, GOLDMAN SACHS, etc come for recruitment, with an avg pay of around 6.5 LPA. However the package varies based on the work experience of the candidate.

UDBHAV Intra college freshers week the entire new batch is welcomed to the campus with a great celebreation all the new students are randomly pooled in 15 groups of around 50 each and a fierce competition is held consisting of various events after college hours. This is a great ice breaker as students get comfy with the college atmosphere and know people.TECHNIKALA inter College Fest a number of institutes from across pune city enter the fest of three days with loads of activities and events however, I have seen bigger events approx budget as per my estimate aroound 6 8 lacs apart from this all the festivals are celebrated with the respective communities taking charge and conducting the celebrations.

Overall Tuition fees around 8 lacs (entire course) hostel & mess fees around 2 lacs (entire course duration) so overall the fees comes to around 10 lacs plus personal expenses hence can be considered on the higher side with M.Tech at lower rates and also monthly stipend the fee structure for NICMAR is pretty steep however loans can be taken easily.

The fees is mentioned above and for the same loans are easily obtainable either on our own or either through banks having tie up with the institute ( not much benefit though) scholarships are provided after every trimesters with people getting minimum of 2750 per month if with 10% the scholarship increases with better performance of course and max is the excalibre award which wavers tuition fees for a trimester around 1.25 lacs.

The campus life is as good as its gets. although a small 15 acre campus but life is good since 90% of students reside in hostels and people from all over the country join a good mix of fresh students along with work experience guys make it a good atmosphere.Since the institute is a construction mgmt institute majority of students are civil engineers engineering is a pre requisite to join the college as such the crowd is male dominated with a ration of around 80:20.
