The PGDM carries three specialisation tracks, namely Business Management, Marketing and Finance, and Research and Business Analytics. Each track bundles certifications in Financial Modelling, Power BI, Python or R, Six Sigma Green Belt and AI-powered digital marketing. The INTI Malaysia route splits as 4 months in Pune followed by 12 months in Malaysia, while the USW UK route carries a 3 to 4 month paid work placement in the UK.
Lexicon MILE Admission Process
Admission runs through a three-phase online application on the institute admissions portal. Selection follows a composite scoring model rather than a single entrance percentile. The weightage is 35% for the national entrance score, 30% for the personal interview and case study, 20% for past academic record and 15% for work experience and extracurricular diversity.
Lexicon MILE does not publish a hard percentile cutoff for the PGDM. The institute does publish scholarship benchmarks, which indicate the percentile bands it rewards, namely CAT 80 percentile and above, CMAT 90 percentile and above, and MAT 90 percentile and above. Candidates below those bands remain eligible for admission, since the interview and academic record together carry half the composite weight. The cohort draws heavily from fresh graduates across Commerce, Engineering, Science and Arts streams, and freshers are evaluated on the same scale as work-experienced applicants. Check details of Lexicon MILE Admission below:
PGDM Admission
The PGDM is the flagship two-year program and the most competitive entry at Lexicon MILE.
- Eligibility: Bachelor's degree of minimum 3 years duration from a UGC or AIU recognised university
- Minimum marks: 50% aggregate in graduation, 45% for reserved categories
- Accepted exams: CAT, XAT, CMAT, MAT, GMAT, MH-CET, ATMA or CUET
- Final-year students graduating by June 30, 2027 may apply provisionally with a Principal's bonafide certificate
The selection stages run in sequence.
- Phase 1: Register profile and select program preference, generating an Application ID
- Phase 2: Pay the INR 1,000 non-refundable application fee online
- Phase 3: Submit academic record, entrance scorecard, work experience details and interview venue preference
- Personal interview and case study round, either online over video or in person at the Wagholi campus
- Provisional offer letter, followed by first instalment payment to confirm the seat
- Document verification and campus reporting with transfer and migration certificates
Interviews are offered at nationwide centres including Pune, Mumbai, Delhi, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Patna, Ranchi, Jaipur, Indore and Lucknow. Candidates awaiting entrance results can register their test roll number and upload the scorecard later.
MBA Global Admission
The MBA Global tracks share the same application window as the PGDM but carry track-specific eligibility.
- USW, UK track: Graduation with 55%, valid international passport and IELTS 6.0 with no band below 5.5
- INTI, Malaysia track: Any graduate degree with 50% aggregate, followed by a micro-presentation and personal interview
- SBS Swiss Business School, UAE track: Any graduate with 50% marks, with 2 years of work experience preferred
Passport details must match the application exactly for the UK route, since the name feeds into CAS and student visa processing.
BBA and HMCT Admission
BBA requires 10+2 from a recognised State or Central Board with a 50% aggregate. Candidates must hold a non-zero positive score in CUET-UG or MAH-BBA / BCA / BMS CET. The BBA choice code for centralised allotment is 06610. Students awaiting final Class 12 results may apply provisionally.
Both HMCT programs admit on the basis of 10+2 with no entrance exam. An equivalence certificate is required when the Class 12 result is declared in grades or credit points instead of marks.
Lexicon MILE Placements
Lexicon MILE placements are run by a dedicated corporate relations cell across a four-stage model. The institute reported 97.5% placements in the most recent cycle, with 500+ offers from 200+ participating companies. The average composite CTC stands at INR 8.25 LPA.
The headline offers in the current cycle came from two recruiters. Apple made the highest international offer at INR 49 LPA, and Urban Company made the highest domestic offer at INR 18 LPA. IDFC FIRST was the single largest recruiter with 82 selections at packages up to INR 8.5 LPA, while eClerx made 7 selections above INR 9.5 LPA.
Hiring is spread across five sectors. BFSI leads at 34%, followed by IT, ITES and business analytics at 24%, consulting and market research at 18%, FMCG, retail and e-commerce at 14%, and real estate, operations and manufacturing at 10%. Other recruiters named across recent batches include ICICI Bank, BNY Mellon, Deloitte, PwC, Amazon, TIAA, Wipro and Infosys. The alumni base feeding this network is the institute's strongest placement asset, since Lexicon MILE has been running PGDM cohorts since 2009.
The table below tracks the Lexicon MILE Placements:
| Metric | Batch 2025-27 (Ongoing) | Batch 2023-25 | Batch 2022-24 |
|---|---|---|---|
| Highest International Package | INR 49 LPA (Apple) | INR 49 LPA | INR 49 LPA |
| Highest Domestic Package | INR 18 LPA (Urban Company) | INR 18 LPA | INR 15 LPA |
| Total Placement Offers | 500+ | 480+ | 450+ |
| Participating Companies | 200+ | 180+ | 160+ |
Every PGDM student goes through a 9-month paid corporate internship before final placement drives. The pre-placement stage adds resume workshops, mock interviews with corporate HR leaders and group discussion drills.
Lexicon MILE Scholarships
Lexicon MILE runs entrance exam-based merit scholarships for the PGDM 2027-29 batch. The grants are direct tuition fee waivers, credited against the PGDM instalment schedule rather than paid out. Awards are made on a first-come, first-served basis against a fixed annual corpus. The table of Lexicon MILE Scholarships is provided below:
| Scholarship | Eligibility | Coverage |
|---|---|---|
| CAT Merit Scholarship | 80 percentile and above | INR 75,000 tuition fee waiver |
| CMAT Merit Scholarship | 90 percentile and above | INR 50,000 tuition fee waiver |
| MAT Merit Scholarship | 90 percentile and above | INR 25,000 tuition fee waiver |
A candidate qualifying under two exams receives only the single highest tier, since waivers cannot be combined. The grant covers the first academic year, and renewal for Year 2 depends on first-year academic performance and discipline. Need-based and unique achievement scholarships are also offered across the MBA Global and B.Sc Hospitality Studies programs.
For the balance, the institute maintains education loan tie-ups with State Bank of India, HDFC Credila, Axis Bank, Bank of Baroda, ICICI Bank, Canara Bank, Eduvanz and Propelld, along with the PM-Vidyalaxmi route. The admissions desk issues fee estimation kits and Section 80E documentation to support loan sanctions.
Lexicon MILE Campus and Infrastructure
The campus occupies 3.5 acres at Gat No. 726, Pune-Nagar Road, Wagholi, Pune 412207. It sits directly on the Pune-Ahmednagar highway, roughly 15 km from Pune International Airport and 18 km from Pune Junction railway station. PMPML buses, auto-rickshaws and app-based cabs run frequently along the route.
Academic infrastructure is built around air-conditioned, acoustically treated smart classrooms with interactive boards and tiered seating. The seminar and conference hall seats 250+ with hybrid broadcast capability. The Knowledge and Resource Centre carries 15,000+ titles plus DELNET and EBSCO digital archive access. HyperBuild, the in-house AI lab, runs high-GPU compute for generative AI and analytics projects and sits inside daily coursework rather than as a standalone workshop. A start-up incubation cell supports student ventures.
Beyond academics, the campus has outdoor turf grounds for cricket, football, basketball and athletics, MultiFit fitness zones, student lounges and coffee nooks, and campus-wide Wi-Fi. Security runs on biometric access control, round-the-clock guarding and CCTV coverage, with tie-ups to multi-speciality hospitals in Wagholi. Student life runs on marketing, finance, analytics, sports and cultural committees, executive conclaves with industry leaders, pitch nights, hackathons and FailLab resilience workshops. Students consistently point to the mentor-mentee structure and the leadership mentor panel, which includes Dr. Kiran Bedi and Dr. Anil Lamba, as a differentiator.
Hostel accommodation is the main infrastructure limitation. Lexicon MILE does not run its own residential blocks and instead facilitates vetted third-party hostels close to campus for boys and girls, with Wi-Fi, mess, laundry and warden support. These charges sit outside the tuition fee and must be budgeted separately.
Lexicon MILE vs Indira Institute of Management vs Balaji Institute of Modern Management
Aspirants evaluating Lexicon MILE most often weigh it against two other Pune private B-schools in the same fee and percentile band. Indira Institute of Management (IIMP) and Balaji Institute of Modern Management (BIMM) under Sri Balaji University both admit on the same entrance exam basket and target a similar applicant pool.
| Parameter | Lexicon MILE | Indira Institute of Management, Pune | Balaji Institute of Modern Management, Pune |
|---|---|---|---|
| Flagship Program | PGDM, 2 years | PGDM, 2 years | MBA, 2 years |
| Total Fees | INR 10.80 Lakhs | INR 7.00 Lakhs | INR 12.55 Lakhs |
| Exams Accepted | CAT, XAT, CMAT, MAT, MH-CET, ATMA, GMAT, CUET | CAT, XAT, CMAT, MAT, MH-CET, ATMA | CAT, XAT, CMAT, MAT, MH-CET, ATMA, GMAT |
| Average Package | INR 8.25 LPA | INR 6.57 LPA | INR 8.75 LPA |
| Highest Domestic Package | INR 18 LPA | INR 16.32 LPA | INR 21.58 LPA |
Indira Institute of Management is the cheapest of the three and carries the deepest Pune corporate network, but reports the lowest average package. Balaji Institute of Modern Management leads on both average and highest domestic CTC, backed by a much larger multi-institute cohort under Sri Balaji University. Lexicon MILE sits in the middle on fees and average CTC, and leads on international exposure through its three dual-country MBA Global pathways and the UK paid work placement. Its smaller batch size supports closer mentor access, though it also means a narrower on-campus recruiter footprint than the larger Pune campuses.
