My college experience at Tezpur University.

My university has a playground for playing football, Cricket, Hockey, and other games. It is also having a Sports Complex for providing various types of outdoor and indoor games to us. There are many ways for us to get involved on campus and we hope to serve as a connection point for students in finding the opportunity that is right for them.

My MA program in sociology provided me with a holistic approach towards gaining sociological insights and perspective, which helped me to make sense of and articulate my understanding of the local, regional, and global social context. My professors helped me to build a strong foundation of sociological perspectives and methodological approaches which can then be applied to diverse aspects of society.

The graduates of my university go on to have some of the best jobs in the industry, with a 94% job placement rate and an average starting salary of Rs10,00,000. Thus I was really looking forward to gaining the best placement opportunity. I could even intern at some of the world’s most admired companies such as Genpact, IndusInd Bank, Axis Bank, IDBI, HDFC Bank, IICI Lombard, Johnson and Johnson, Times of India, Godrej, Vodafone, Airtel, BigBasket, Hiddleburg Cement, Havells India, Volkswagen, Force Motors, Reliance Digital, and Mahindra, CMC Ltd.

My tuition expenses were around Rs.20,00,000, and my books and supplies cost was around Rs.2,00,000. My Personal and travel expenses were Rs.100,000, and my living expenses were around Rs.2,50,000.

My University awarded me with an academic scholarship based on my admission application. My selection was done by the Admissions Committee and eligibility was based on my student’s academic credentials and my performance. The aid really helped me to cover my tuition expenses.

My university had extra-curricular activities to engage in, that helped me to demonstrate my skills and qualities. These activities are part of the Movie Club and Students’ Seminar Club. The clubs are operated by students coordinators under the supervision of faculty members. Each club has a designated time to hold activities and events once a week.
