Remarks

you can take admission through jee mains or through data(for NRI's). you have to fill the form on the JAC Delhi website which is a joint admission website for dtu, nsut,it, de. Now coming to the reservations, 85% of the seats are reserved for Delhi candidates those who have done their 12th from Delhi. since the institute is under the Delhi government so all the cates listed in the state government list enjoy reservation.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

cs is the most booming therefore I choose it, the facility are Ph.D.'s and most of them have great knowledge and some are passionate about teaching while some just come and go. the bad part is 75 percent attendance criteria, we have classes from 8 am to 6 pm and most of the time is gone in clg. one thing is for sure in most colleges that you have to study yourself whether for exams or placement and the attendance criteria suck. exams are twice every semester and classiest too. if you study a week before exams you are good to go.

Internships Opportunities

5

Google, jp morgan, adobe, Microsoft the Stephen is not disclosed but for big tech giants, it is above 40k. Deloitte, towers research, Nagar, Samsung, Amazon, PMC, reliance, rooms, divide many other companies too visit you can check the exact data on clg website

Placement Experience

5

placement is something for which the clg is known. in terms of placement, it competes with the top iits of the country and even better than many iits. companies start to come from the 4th sem for placements. there are lots of offer PPO's, companies like google, Microsoft, jp morgan, and almost all big companies visit the campus. above 90 percent of students get placed. for exact details, you can check the official website

Fees and Financial Aid

the fee is a bit high. for the first year it's 212k and it is going to increase every year. this fee is among of the highest for a govt engineering colleges and there are fines for every other thing. coming to scholarships there are available if your income is below 8lpy. campus only offers jobs/internships in second year only and that too for top branches but you can go off-campus and find them yourself.

Campus Life

3.5

the fest is quite good, one of the best in Delhi. the annual fest is moksha, its amazing even the tech fest or hacknsut organised by the clg was India's second student organized hackathon. we have big library with lots and lots of textbooks, if you want to read fiction books you can find them in the hostel library for that you have been a hostler. sports and extracurricular activities and competitions are quite often but if becomes bit hectic to manage and begin a Covid batch our course started late ,so to keep up the load adds on. classes are form 8am to 6pm . but if you mange well you do get enough time chill out

Hostel Facilities

2.5

saying straight hostel are not good. they are too pricey for first year as of 2022 the rent per month is 10.5k and 36k anuual mess charges. you get no ac . The water the supply for bathing and other purposes is salty and not cool in summer. in summer it get hot. one can setup coller. i would recemond to take a pg which you will find cheaper than hostel and will get great sericve, eg. ac. fresh water etc.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is good. I do not feel very pressure. The course curriculum is design by GGSIPU. There is not spefific reason to choose to this course. It was my childhood dream to become computer engineer. I cant say that the curriculum prepares for real world applications because I am just second year students. The exam conducted on semester basis and its not very difficult.

Placement Experience:

Placements at Jamia Millia Islamia are not too high or too low and depend on the branch. Students can apply for placements starting from their 7th semester. Big companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Accenture, and some startups come to recruit. The average salary offered is between 7 to 8 lakhs per year, but there are not many students who get higher packages. About 40 to 60 percent of students get placed. Many students also work on getting into higher studies or look for jobs outside the campus after they finish their degree.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course Curriculum for ECE in my clg is quite up to date and comprehensive, covering both core subjects and emerging areas of technology, which was a major factor in my decision to choose this branch. Course has a balanced theory with practical exposure, supported by great faculties guidance and well-maintained lab conditions. Also you get to choose the type of minor or specilaization you want to pursue after 1st year. Exams are conducted regularly after each semester, and levels are same as any engineering college would have.
