Student review of college Delhi techonological University

To take admission in DTU you have to give JEE Mains and you will get seats according to your jee crl ranks.You have to register yourself in JAC DELHI counselling site where your counselling will be done . If you are delhi students (i.e. did your schooling from delhi school) then you have a around 85% seats reserved for you which help to get better branch and talking about outside delhi student its quite tough to get good branch as compared to delhi students. Here inDTU offer variety of courses and at third year you can choose department electives of your choice.For the first two years (i.e 4 semesters) you are allowed to choose FECs(foundational elective courses) which include personatlity devlopment, EVS, moral science kind of stuffs. Faculties are also highly qulified (mostly PHDs) and they teach very well actually and also help student if you done bad in your academics. During online semesters there were no mid term and end term examination but a new system called continuous evaluation which include class tests, minor tests, project submition , ppt presentation etc. Your cgpa will depend on these tests and projects and how you are attentive in you classes.

Internship is actually very hard to get because of the comptition and lower branches student fidn difficulty because of the compititon of higher branch students. But most students and able to get good internship offcampus through linkdiens and DTU brand name helps to get shortlisted sometimes.You must be in the top 100 coders of the college to get an oncampus internship. companies like microsoft, uber, sprinkler,atlassian , paytm come for intership .Highest stipend offered by sprinkler around 2lpm for 2or 3 month internship .

Placements are the heart of DTU , almost every student get placed if prepare a little . Top companies like Apple, Microsoft , Uber, Atlassian, Sprinkler visit to the compay and took many students with good package . Highest domestic package this year was 64lpa by Apple and international package wasa 1.03cr by Amazon. And coding environment is also very good and healthy which help in your placement journey \. I am looking to crack a good tech placement .

Fees is around 200k per year and increases by 10 % every year . Talking about scholar ships DTU provides manay scholarships to the students one is merit cum need scholarship where you have to score good cgpa to avail its benefits and other is where you show your finacial condition to the concerned staffs to avail the scholarship.

Campus life in the DTU is best in my opinion. Acadamics pressure is not that much you can't handle which give you ample time to prepare for compititive exams , prepare jobs and other stuffs. Talking about socities it has many socieites related to techs, culutral , and literature. Dtu has a huge sports complex which is open for all and sports council provides you ample opportunities to participate in inter college compititions. It has a NCC group which help students to prepare for SSB interviews. Library is also vey big comprises for around 150k books , you can also study there during exams.
