Remarks

You have to appear for the NMAT exam and clear the cut which was 207 at my time. You can apply for the form through the official nmims website. The admission process seamless and pretty well managed. The only party that i felt could be improved if the admission process is held in major cities throughtout the country and not only 1 or 2 cities.

Course Curriculum Overview

I did my MBA from NMIMS because of the brand name that it gives and the value it adds to my profile. There is an estimated 1 faculty per 30/35 students. The Faculty is highly trained and make sure that they impart the knowlegde required by the students in order to be successful. There is a trimester type examination held and internals and externals are a part of it. Its a seamless process and very effeciently done.

Class Size: 45Course Fees: INR 900000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Quite a few companies visited the campus for internships (Dell, JP Morgan, Big Basket etc.) for first year students. They come in all domain including marketing, Finance ,operations etc. with a average pacakage of 30k / month

Placement Experience

You are eligible for campus placements from the 4th trimester. Highest package offered was 18 L and the average package offered 12 L. 100 % were placed during the placement drive. My plans is to join the company as soon as we are done with the degree.

Fees and Financial Aid

The annual fees of NMIMS, BANGALORE is 9 lakh/Year. A lot of internships ( Dell, Britannia, Bigbasket etc. ) with an average stipend of 50k per month was offered. Jobs are offered by corporates job with 100% placement and a average package of 11 lakh.

Campus Life

There were activities from clubs like the marketing day, Analytics day etc. The life on campus if pretty good which a good atmosphere and the amenities are top notch. The Library has all academic as well as fictional books available. There are all the sports availabale with a golf course on the campus.

Interview Experience

3.5

There was a group discussion with the topic of " Internet - Pros/ Cons", post which a PI Round was conducted which was a duration of 20 mins. It comprised of general questions about yourself, education background, Work experience etc. Just go through your resume and what you have done till date, brush up your basics and be confident.

At IIBS, we become eligible for placements from *4th trimester*. Training starts from 1st trimester itself Companies like Deloitte, Accenture, Amazon, TCS, Wipro, Federal Bank, KPMG visit. 250+ companies made 1800+ offers last year. Profiles are Business Analyst, Marketing, HR, Finance Analyst. Around 90-95% students get placed.

ISME: THIS IS ME !!

Course Curriculum Overview:

For jobs, it prepares you very well. You work through real case studies, Harvard business simulations, and a 4-to-6-month corporate internship, so you aren't completely clueless on day one at an office. If your goal is a PhD or pure research, though, it leans a bit too practical and corporate rather than deeply academic.

Life at ISME

Likes

I liked the faculty members as they are very approachable
Mentorship programs, international certifications
The diversity of students in our batch. Students came from all the parts of India.

Dislikes

College is very far from the main city and the airport as well.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Curriculum is very student friendly. We have guest lectures from various industry experts, subject matter experts etc. Our course is more practical based and industry focused. We also have regular exams for continuous monitoring.

Great Learning Experience

Likes

The batch size is small and competitive.
The International Immersion Program at Singapore
Industry Trajectory Program, which includes paid internship opportunities for 6 months months at top companies like Grant Thornton and ITC

Dislikes

The campus is far away from the main city
The 80% attendance in college is mandatory

Placement Experience:

We sit for final placements from our second year whereas other internship opportunities starts from the very beginning, like in our first year we had companies like EY and Deloitte for our Summer Internship Placement (SIP)

ISME PGDM REVIEW

Likes

Facility is very qualified. Faculties from IIM are also there. They are very friendly. They gives us extra support and mentorship after class also
College infrastructure is also good. Full of greenery amd calm environment and location is aldo good.
Placement is also good. And ROI is also good as per the fees.

Dislikes

The schedule is very hectic. And hostel timing is also short for returning.

Placement Experience:

Placements are also there 240+ recruiters come for campus placements. Average package is 8 to 9 lakhs and highest package is 17 lakh. We have Industry trajectory programme with big 4 like Kpmg GT etc

Isme campus life review

Likes

We have good faculties, who are very friendly and approachable
Study matarial is also very helpful, we are getting enough information and learnings we want
Corporate exposure of this college is amazing...we are getting good internships related to our feild

Placement Experience:

240 recruiters come to this college....we have industry trajectory program, placement oriented term, mock interviews, workshops. We have average package of 8pla and highest package is 17 lpa. We have career opportunities cell which prepare you for summer internships and final placement. In ITP students get stipend between 25 to 40k.

Placement Experience:

The College placement is decent which is around 8 lakhs as an average and rest is upon the students how they gather knowledge and perform in interview. The percentage of placement of 95%. The companies visited here are KPMG , Deloitte, EY, TCS, Infosys, Wipro etc.

The best 2 year of my life

I chose NMIMS Bangalore over KJ Somaiya from where i got an offer as well because NMIMS is a brand name, the batch size compared to KJ Somaiya is one third and the average placement is higher as well. One other reason would be the high cost of living in Mumbai. I applied to KJ Somaiya and TAPMI as well. Rejected KJ Somaiya and didn’t get shortlisted for TAPMI. I got rejected from TAPM, their shortlisting criteria completely changed and I couldn’t do anything to change it. The admission process for NMIMS Bangalore is basically by clearing the NMAT exam, I scored around 230 and the cut off for it was i think around 224. NMIMS only take NMAT for consideration. The overall admission process is smooth only. Once you get the offer letter you just have to upload your documents and they will upload them in sometime...Read More

Students have to appear for NMAT which is specially organized by NMIMS University and different campuses have different cutoffs for NMAT. Once a student is eligible for a campus, he/she has to sit for 2 rounds of interviews usually, the GD round or a written test on an impromptu topic and an interview round.
