LPU has rewarded students with some of the best facilities

For engineering and especially the CSE branch, an LPUNEST score of 200 is mandatory. Students below that are admitted but have to pay the full fees as I have received a 40% scholarship because I was among the top 500 students of the university. Once the score is out then it is just a formality as one form has to be filled along with the fees and admissions are done.

CSE was my preferred subject as technology excites me more than anything else. The number of students in our branch including all the sections is 5000 plus and hence to cater for them the university has assigned nearly 500 faculties. So the ratio is 1:10 which is a guess that is quite good. Even though such a large number of faculty exists in the university there has been no compromise on the quality as all of them are at least M. Tech passed out.

As soon as we enter the third year, we are being approached by the TPP department which registers us for internships. A two to three months of internships and we become eligible for placements. I have chatted with many seniors and they have one common thing to say they had a handsome job offered even before they cleared their final semester. Placements are not exactly 100% but those who have consistently scored well are bound to get placed at the university.

The fees increased recently but I am eligible for 40% scholarships for the entire course. So, I am just paying 54000 per semester and the cost to study if I compare it against the kind of facilities that we have been provided, I would call it more than reasonable. Scholarships for students who have scored well in LPUNEST or the semester exams get good scholarships. There are many other scholarships too and all the information regarding that can be availed from the scholarship cell of the university.

Fests are like an everyday thing on the campus. I see students singing, dancing or the girls doing Rangolis on the campus. There are many fests like One India, and others but the biggest highlight is the annual cultural fest Spectra in which one can witness the maximum student participation. Many prominent singers and personalities have gazed at the event and have also performed too at Spectra.
