Remarks

It had started to establish itself, but due to other new colleges coming up in the vicinity the popularity of them has diminished reducing it to just another college in the tier 2 college.

Entrance Preview

The aspiring candidate must be a graduate in any stream with minimum 50 percent aggregate marks and he should have a valid score in MAT/XAT/CMAT.

This course keeps in mind the needs of the industry where the students ultimately find employment, and, therefore, has a completely different approach to learning.

Internships Opportunities

There are so many companies that offer internship which involves some of the major recruiters that are Videocon Industries, CocaCola India, Dhanuka Agritech Ltd., Thomson Press, Airport Authority of India, Britannia, Maruti Suzuki India Ltd. etc.

Placement Experience

The placements of my college were decent and average. The maximum package was 4 lakhs.We have 150 total students in our batch and 50 students were placed.Mostly marketing and HR companies arrived.

College Events

Here at OP Jindal University we are encouraged to participate in sports, clubs, cultural etc. if classes are missed, attendance will be posted as 'on duty'.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fees is quite feasible as you get a discount after you pay annually, else you have to pay 10,000 extra if you pay every semester.

Fees and Financial Aid

Scholarships are awarded to extra meritorious students on the basis of their past academic performance in their respective schools and colleges.

Campus Life

The classrooms are normal- decent and manageable but nothing extra ordinary. There is a huge and spacious library which is used mostly by the hostellers. Also, WiFi facility is not available for the students.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel facility for both boys and girls in the campus although available, is not great and also cut off from the city which makes students’ prefer staying by themselves in the city as paying guests.

Alumni/Alumna

a healthy senior-junior interaction binds it to be as a family, And there are regular meets with the alumni and a common alumni meet is also organized every year.

Exam Structure

Every semester we are burdened with so many tasks apart from the exams, which include tests, quiz, viva, role play, class participation, group assignments, individual assignments, live projects and mid semester exams and to top it all we have Exams..

The teachers and staff here are great with loads of knowledge and experience. It all depends on how you use it.

One of the best universities for MBA

Likes

I like the overall vibe of the university. The infrastructure is very good with good grounds and eating points.
KRMU conducts fests, events, programmes and many other extra curricular activities. A few months ago, Jasmine Sandlas had performed here.
The faculties are very good and helpful. Internships are also offered. Moreover, placements of he last year was also good, one of my senior got 11LPA package.

Dislikes

A lot of time, the washrooms are dirty, the university should focus on cleanliness and hygien of the washrooms.
I don't like the 75% mandatory attendance.
The university should partiipate in games more like cricket tournament.

Placement Experience:

Placements is good. Higher placements come for Engineering students but MBA and BBA students also get avg placement of 8-9 LPA. Many of my seniors from last year got good placements at top companies like Hyundai, Maruti,Amkette, Flipkart, Adaan.

Placement Experience:

In the first year, there are placement opportunities for internship and in the second year, there are proper campus placements that take place, led by a student elected placement committee. Some of the top companies that extended offers for the students were Microsoft, Google, AccStrat, ITC, Mondelez, JPMC etc. The highest package offered was 5L and the average was 2.2L with 100% placements for the summer internships. I plan to work in the finance or consult sector after getting my degree.

Remarks:

The campus life at our college is very enjoyable. The system of library help the students to gain knowledge through different books. Ciunselling system is also provided at the college so that the student can get a healthy environment. Indoor Game facilities and a common room is also provided. These all are the positive things about our college.

Remarks:

College is cleaned. Rooms are very airy it would be good if there was an AC. But it is o.k. Campus is cleaned and green. Canteen is so good. They use to make fresh food every day which is the best thing of them so there is no need to worry about stomach ache due to old food. Overall good college.

Rules are strict. Students have to be punctual at college timings. In starting, schedule seems tough but after days goes, all turns into quality. Whatever the schedule is: it is good and long term beneficial for the growth of the students.

Remarks:

Considering the experience of the participants, the course has been designed for learning and upgradation of knowledge and skills nationally as well as internationally. The Course curriculum also includes one week foreign exposure to a neighbouring country. The international attachment of the participants of this group was organised at ‘Universiti Utara Malaysia, Kedah, Malaysia’.

An enriching experience

Remarks:

The uniqueness of the programme lies in its extensive use of market professionals as resource persons for the programme. Apart from sound grounding in academic concepts pertaining to the capital markets, the participants gets a chance to interact with senior regulatory officials, executives of exchanges, leading merchant bankers and foreign institutional investors.

JGU is delightful place!!

JSAT is mandatory to get admission in JGU. For Arts courses be if Economics, Political Science or any others, one also has to clear the interview rounds as well. I got confirm admission only from MNLU Nagpur but our college JGLS is much better than it in many sense. JGU is an event hosting place!!

Ashoka University again and also MCC Bangalore as these are some of th colleges that offers this particular course. I think did best by ditching the rest two as MCC may be an old college but JGU still I feel is the best out of all. O.P. Jindal University is Supreme!!

JSAT is mandatory and only 60 seats for our course which is divided in 2 sections. I have given the same and cleared the same. The entrance is little tough and fees for the entrance is 12000. OPJGU: Not my first choice, but definitely the right one

I applied to multiple other universities as well, but I chose JGU because the university has top-notch faculty from abroad as well who hold PHDs from highly reputable universities. Most of my professors had PHDs from IITs and NIMHANS. JGU is very well known for it's global partnerships and study abroad programs, which make it a highly networked university as well. The campus is very secure and vibrant, which attracted me to it. Admission to JGU is not very difficult and can be achieved by most students.
