Remarks

Quiet good, except Saturday no off, no AC in classes.

Entrance Preview

IPU CET. It is easy as well as it can give you some best IP colleges which are good for engineering. My rank was 9k

Course Curriculum Overview

Quiet good. Some subjects don't have direct relation to further research and development (e.g workshop in 1st sem) but majority of them try to build one's knowledge for future reference and research. Some subjects also try to build knowledge for GATE,CAT and other exams

Internships Opportunities

No. There are societies in the college which create event thaf may include a company visit where internship could be a thing.

Placement Experience

Placements are quiet good. Infosys,Accenture,Microsoft and many other companies visit our campus and provide good packages. Some may offer an off field position but majority of them have student's choice of position or job reference. Placement activities are quiet good

College Events

4.5

Sports Meet is celebrated every year.Apart from it fest Some cultural events And events of various societies are organized in the college. Participation differs according to students interest in particular activities. Every event (even the fest) is not so big and blasting.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Feasible. While management students suffer due to heavy charges, normal students have 90k fees and university has a financial assistance scheme for Economically Weakly Section. Fee is to be submitted once for an academic year thaf may not be efficient for all to submit this amount of money at once.

Fees and Financial Aid

Don't know much about this so can't explain it. You must have not set the limit to 100 words.

Campus Life

Co-ed college, campus is not so big but campus life is average. Gender ratios of IT/CSE is good while ECE and EEE lack in number of girls. Societies are present offering students faciltity of their choice. workshops are also organized.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

No idea as i am not an hostel student but all that i have heard the rooms are not proper but hostel facilities are good and food,as every hostel mess, may or may mot be according to the students choice. Overall the hostel is just average or just below average.

External Expense: Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Alumni/Alumna

Seniors are there to help in any kind of college activity. They are helpful, cooperative and cool and mix up quiet easily

Exam Structure

Never ask an engineering student about the lectures and labs as how cool it may be but it takes up all your day and make you feel like you are tired. My college doesn't has an off on Saturday and some important lectures and labs are scheduled yo be on Saturday, leaving no chance for students to take an off.

Faculty

Faculty is quiet supporting and responsive. Almost every teacher is qualified with post graduate and some are quiet good at their field. But some teachers do lack in the knowledge of their subject and are not able to clear the doubts of students. So overall its good.

My experience studying at NSIT

Likes

Placement was among the best and most the top companies visited
Infrastructure was appreciable with no major shortage of laboratories
Senior-Junior interaction compensated the average faculty

Dislikes

Outdated curriculum negatively impacted the conceptual clarity
Too difficult to secure good grades due to strict marking
Mediocre support provided to student led initiative

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum was evidently outdated and irrelevant to modern engineering challenges and could have severely disadvantaged students' learning outcomes. Although, interaction with seniors compensated this.

How Good B.Tech. from JAMIA MILLIA ISLAMIA is?

Likes

Here in Jamia the faculty is very experienced in their fields , they make you feel Engineering and not to just read books. there teaching methods are amog the top in the nation
the curriculum not just focus on your engineering but also focuses on your personality development.
the infrastructure itself gives you the feel of oldness and the reputation of the college.

Dislikes

one bad thing is its less availability of Hostel rooms .
there is a very strict rule of 75% attendance .

Placement Experience:

Placements at Jamia Millia Islamia are not too high or too low and depend on the branch. Students can apply for placements starting from their 7th semester. Big companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Accenture, and some startups come to recruit. The average salary offered is between 7 to 8 lakhs per year, but there are not many students who get higher packages. About 40 to 60 percent of students get placed. Many students also work on getting into higher studies or look for jobs outside the campus after they finish their degree.

The Dream College Life

Likes

The campus is completely different from the whole city, it is more cleaner and is quiet peaceful with various different beautiful views at different points and is not too big so could easily walk through the campus.
Has really great architecture of the buildings and is surrounded by really intelligent people including some over the top profs and some really great minds from the country.
The night life is completely different and is one of the best part of staying in campus.

Dislikes

some of the hostels are quiet old and need renovation.

Placement Experience:

If you study passionately and have decent communication skills and some important competencies, I assure you that you will secure a position in a great company. Here at IIT Delhi, you earn what you work for; you can receive salary packages as high as 2 crores, but some offers start as low as 4 lakhs per annum.

Hostel and hostel mess are neat, well managed and hygienic

Sports facilities are not too well in this campus
There is zero spot of E- vehicle charging.

This course is newly introduced by seeing the upgradation of the industry by involving AI & ML in that work, this campus and course doing great work. There should be improvement in lab classes only and Exam are done easy to moderate level.
