BIET Jhansi, B.Tech, Computer Science and Engineering

Reviewed on May 22, 2022(Enrolled 2020)

Remarks

At that time admission was done through the UPSEE exam. BIET comes at a rank of 3 in a state-level engineering college. Counselling is conducted in online mode only after clearing the exam you are required to do choice filling. Then you are allowed a college. Reservation benefits are there you belong to category accordingly.

Course Curriculum Overview

I choose this course because I was always curious about knowing how a computer works and wanted to work only in this field and get placed in a good company with a high package so that I can full fill my dreams etc. Faculty are well qualified and teaching methods are good enough to understand what they wanted to convey to students.

Class Size: 70Course Fees: INR 80000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Since I am not in my third year so I didn't get any internship in any company but there are many companies which visit for recruitment as well as for internships. Like indiamart, bajaj, zomato, etc. Companies provide stipends according to the calibre and work like 15k Or 20k for CSE.

Placement Experience

Students become eligible for placements after 3rd year only many companies visit campus for placements and internships opportunity. The highest package offered was 26 lakhs for cse and average is around 6 lakh for cse and for all branches it is around 5 lakhs. Almost 96 percent placements in cse and in core branches it is around 70 per cent. After getting my degree I have to do a startup.

Fees and Financial Aid

If your family income is less than 1 lakh then you will get a scholarship and the full fee amount would be provided by the government. Scholarship schemes are there like NSP which is a national scholarship portal. You can get a loan from the bank on campus and after degree completion, you can repay it but there are some terms and conditions.

Campus Life

Classrooms are average dont expect very luxurious classrooms like IITs and nits and some of the private colleges. I don't have enough knowledge regarding the hostel rooms since I am a day scholar but I can tell you a little bit that rooms are decent and have sufficient space it is a double seater room with average facilities like fan bed table etc.

Overall Feedback for College - Admission , Placement , Course , Faculty , Events

Likes

the security is nice at my college like proper cctv and guards , apart from that labs , and my dept is too good. Ac classroom and labs
They have provided average placement like most of companies are mass hiring like tcs and accenture ..and only few companies come to offer big package
Infrastructure is good but there is need of reconstruction at some places the water is ticking in rain season continuously, and curriculum is okay okay not that much relevant to industry , they taught text books rather than the real practical cases

Dislikes

The examination checking - the student who is cr or having any relation with teachers got highest marks without writing the answer properly
The food canteen first of all the canteen is off from the past 1 or 2 year and now it reopen but it sells dirty food , waste foods
The college professor support , they are not that much supportive

Course Curriculum Overview:

coding I am interested in coding that why I offer this course It provide some courses but not all courses are related to real world they have to use practical examples and make students aware of the real industry According to me the time and frequency is okay of exam
