For securing a seat in KGMU one need to score a good rank in NEET UG exam. This exam is conducted by NTA once in a year. A rank of under 1000 to get a seat under all India quota .their is 85% reservation for state student. so, a decent rank under 2000 can get you seat here.
Course Curriculum Overview
As we all know, it's one of the most prestigious professions and the amount of respect that you get here is beyond explanation. Most of the doctors who teach us are highly knowledgeable about their subject. They are one of the best minds of our country. Exam are held once for year and one need to study a lot to pass.
Internships Opportunities
After 4th year we have compulsory one year internship in our own college. Here we are posted in different departments where we are supposed to done lots of things .it's highly tiring with timing from 8 to 4 with some odd timing work too. Monthly we get a stipend of 12500 rupee.
Fees and Financial Aid
Fees for mbbs is 2200 per year. And it don't include mess charge. Hostel fee is 3000 per year. Scholarship is also available for BPL students .for last three years their is no hike in fees. For economically week students our college has also started providing part time jobs.
Campus Life
RHAPSODY is our annual fest that is conducted by 3rd year student every December. It's three day fest on first day we have culture events on 2nd day we have sports events and in third day we have dj night. Library has almost 3 lac books of medical. And is centers ac with capacity of 500.we also have reading room that remains open 24*7. We have sports event in every winters and includes various athletics sports. We also have GEORGIAN PREMIER LEAGUE it's a day night cricket tournament.
Hostel Facilities
For first year student we have new CV hostel and it's one of the best hostel of our campus. Its two or three tired hostel. Inside hostel we have two messes and one canteen and one badminton court. For second year we have tg hostel and is a single tired hostel a 8 floor building located outside campus. For next two years we sp hostel and it's two tired .we have Wi-Fi canteen gym library inside our hostel. We have 8 messes and 4 canteen. The messes are paid 55 per diet which include rice roti daal sabji nonveg and panner and kheer. Hostel are given for all students
