Remarks

I went through the entrance exam while joining this course. I was asked to write the exam and that was based on the 12th board. It will be quite easy and I cleared it. Try to be prepared with MCQs of 12th for the entrance exams. I did not avail any reservation benefits while I joined. But if you are eligible for any reservation benefits, you will be provided as promised.

Course Curriculum Overview

I was quite excited to join engineering but also thought to stand out from the crowd. And I came to know about printing technology in BE. That's how I chose this course and the faculty teaching will be good and it is up to the individuals how they grasp and go heights. The faculty will be friendly and provide much information and help for placements as well. We can clear the papers if we prepare well. Very few papers will be tough. Usually, that happens. Be prepared and it would be easier to clear.

Class Size: 25Course Fees: INR 120000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Projects are undertaken - printed electronics. I was provided with 5k for my project in a Printing company. Sudhan Graphics, Coimbatore. I have undertaken only one project work with a company. The internships are based on the student's interests. Only a few offers for internships will be provided.

Placement Experience

From 7 sem campus placement is allowed. Internships are allowed during the last three months. I visited TNPL, Karur. ITC, Center. during my semester. My Average package was 3 L per year. 100% placement provided by college unless it is been declined by the student. To start an esteemed Printing Firm in my locality with knowledge in all fields of Printing.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure here is moderate. It will not be much higher and the library on that campus is a great plus here and we can gain more information than we spend. I got the campus job for 10k per month and I got better offers through experience. Scholarships for one person was provided to my batch and eligible candidate will be provided for the scholarship.

Campus Life

Ekatvam 2018 - this was a grand event which has been conducted during my final year. And this was a technical symposium, where 20+ colleges took part and were a great success. Some technical and non-technical events were conducted and we will be conducting events within the college to encourage students to participate. Printing course students as so lucky that they will be allowed to participate in multiple other college events. Many valuable books will be available in the library and that e-library is also the best option for students. Staff will help to select the right and relevant books. Classes will be taken using projectors and some seminars with online sessions will also be taken.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel isobsolitely nice. The facilities will be cleaned periodically, rooms are spacious. Cupboards for each person will be provided and there is a prayer hall and the unique feature of our hostel was the beautiful gardens enveloping the rooms with fresh air. The adventure of the lifetime awaits at the hostel. Enjoy a calm pleasant environment. Vegetarian food will only be provided at the hostel and the dining room will be good and quality will be good.

Hostel Fee: INR 60000 per year

Interview Experience

I had written test only. Those were based on the 12th syllabus. And you have to provide the first and second course that you prefer. According to the results and seat availability, you will be provided the seats. Immediately after your 12th exam you can apply for this and start your admission process.

Here there is no gender separation like boys and girls should be seperate and stuff like that.
It is a autonomous college so courses are changing regularly with the shift in education
Here we have relative grading system therefore there is no ranking and easy to get good grades

Dislikes

We have to pay yearly fees not semester wise it difficult for low income earning families
Money is collected from students for all events happening in the college.
There is a rush for collection of fees at the start of each year and unpaid students might face absent issues

Placement Experience:

Campus placements are moderate but i don't know much about other courses but for civil engineering the average placed ctc is 3 lakh per annum one or two students got higer package but most of the students got lower package as a fresher.
