Hostel Facilities and Accommodation Experience at SRMU University

Likes

Supportive and knowledgeable faculty. Faculty Quality and Placement Opportunities at SRMU University
Spacious campus and decent infrastructure.
Supportive and knowledgeable Good academic environment and learning opportunities.

Dislikes

Placement opportunities could be improved.
Hostel facilities and maintenance need improvement.
More practical learning and industry exposure are needed.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate the course curriculum 4 out of 5. It is relevant and covers the essential concepts of the subject, providing a good theoretical foundation. However, more practical learning, industry exposure, and updated course content would make it more comprehensive and career-oriented.

The beauty of BHU

Likes

The things I liked about the college are the faculty and the professors. They are very cooperative and helpful.
The campus life is quite beautiful here, campus is very close to nature and you can get fresh air. Also the infrastructure is on the top they have all the facilities which are required.
There is an active placement cell in the campus which usually provide in campus placement to students according to their concerned departments.

Dislikes

Some of the things which i think should need to be improved are the classrooms and canteens.
Also I think there is need of improvement in placement cells fir humanities students.
For library I would also say there needs an improvement because they have less capacity in comparison with number of students.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course is very relevant. I took admission in pg diploma in guidance and counselling which is a one year diploma course. I was inspired to do this course specially because it can provide you placement for sure. After this you can apply as a counsellor in any academic setting or NGOs.The teaching method of professors is quite good. They almost cover the entire syllabus before exams

the security is nice at my college like proper cctv and guards , apart from that labs , and my dept is too good. Ac classroom and labs
They have provided average placement like most of companies are mass hiring like tcs and accenture ..and only few companies come to offer big package
Infrastructure is good but there is need of reconstruction at some places the water is ticking in rain season continuously, and curriculum is okay okay not that much relevant to industry , they taught text books rather than the real practical cases

Dislikes

The examination checking - the student who is cr or having any relation with teachers got highest marks without writing the answer properly
The food canteen first of all the canteen is off from the past 1 or 2 year and now it reopen but it sells dirty food , waste foods
The college professor support , they are not that much supportive

Course Curriculum Overview:

coding I am interested in coding that why I offer this course It provide some courses but not all courses are related to real world they have to use practical examples and make students aware of the real industry According to me the time and frequency is okay of exam

I also applied to SVIM indore but as it was very far from my hometown, so i dropped the plan. Admission process: It was simple, I contact the admission cell and fill the form online and sumbited ?10000 for booking my seat along with ?1000 admission form charge. The ?10000 is adjusted in semester fee later. Eligibility criteria: To pass 12th. There is no entrance test or interview....Read More

CIMS- AN OVERVIEW

I applied to every college on the Lucknow University affiliated college list but chose CIMS due to the following reasons: > Networking: I had many acquantances who were currently studying or have just passed out with placements from CIMS. This helped me realise the actuality of the college. >Location: As mentioned, the college campus is located smack dab in the middle of the city. This was a major element in my decision making as I travelled by myself and need to choose a place not far yet not so close to my own home. >Student Body: As I made a visit at the college, I got to see the type of students who were studying at the college, I found them to be a great crowd and this played an essential role in the decision. The admission process was as simple as it gets. I was accompanied with my father and we visited the college campus and asked for a tour. When we were done with it, I had made the decision to enroll there. We filled the form there and then only and made a seat confirmation amount of Rs 3500, which was later deduced from my 1st Semester fee. The eligibilty was to have passed the 12th with a minumum percentage of 60%. The student can shortlist the college for the LUET Portal before the entrance exam which helps in shortlisting the students....Read More
