Remarks

I have joined this college through eamcet entrance exam . After completion of intermediate i have applied this exam . Application form and details are found in the TS eamcet offical page . I want to see that to reduce the reservation criteria, so that general category people can be equally treated as other people.

Course Curriculum Overview

I have choosen this computer science and engineering course because of they have good placements in IT industry. There are nearly 18:1 ratio of faculty: student. Teachers are mainly assistant professors or professors . Teaching quality was very good and it can be easily understand by the students. Exams are conducted weekly once . Either mid exams or quizs or semester exams etc.. exams are not much difficult to write. Students can easily get good score by studying well before the exams .

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 130000 per year

Internships Opportunities

The companies offering internship in the year of 6th semester. Companies like Amazon, Google, service now, Wipro, Uber and some other companies offers intership in our college. Roles are artificial intelligence and machine learning. Data base management systems , design structures.. some projects are in machine learning, artificial intelligence like giving suggestions in YouTube, in search bar ...

Placement Experience

Our college is the top most college in Telangana state. Placements are good enough. From 6 th semester students are prepared to sit for placements. Amazon, service now, Uber , Wipro and many companies are visited to our campus to offer placements. The highest package was 45 lakhs, average package was 15 lakhs and lowest was 7 lakhs per annum . Nearly 95% students got placed in CSE department and 85% rest in other branch people. I want to persue MS after graduation in other countries.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees was 130000 nearly. But for scholarship students it was completely free . There are other extra fees like library books fees and semester end exam fees . Companies like Amazon, Google , service now are offering internship and also campus placement offers in our college. Students are very interested to participate in these opportunities.

Campus Life

Campus Life is very interesting. Monthly one cultural fest activities are conducted in our college after the completion of exams . There are so many books available in our college Library. We can take them with us without any extra charge, just by swiping our id card . Weekly once our class will participate in game competitions. We have also one entrepreneurship cell in which we people will discuss how to develop the college which was running by students.

Likes

College Environment is scenic and it is very peaceful environment.
faculty teaches the all concepts clearly.
college conducting events regularly and have both technical and arts clubs.

Placement Experience:

As a second-year student, I have very little idea about this side of our college, as our seniors got 20LPA as their highest package, and got 5LPA as their average package. Third-year students are getting internship opportunities in well-known companies. Hope I will also get the same things in the further years of my education.

My CSE projects and EWB experience

Likes

The trees and greenery make this small campus pleasant to spend time in.
Teachers explain difficult topics clearly and encourage sports participation.
Working from a sustainability problem statement to a prototype helped me learn.

Dislikes

Leaving campus can involve a strict exit process and several signatures.
Mobile reception and Wi-Fi access can be unreliable on campus.
Compared with first year, I have found fewer opportunities and resources for sports.

Placement Experience:

I would describe the internship and placement opportunities here as moderate. My own aim is to enter data engineering, so I am working on Python, SQL and practical projects alongside my degree. I would advise applicants to ask for the latest placement records directly, as I do not have verified salary figures or offer counts to share.

KG Reddy College: A Journey of My Learning and Development.

Likes

College Environment is more scenic and enjoyable.
Faculty teaching style is proficient and explain both theoretical and practical concepts.
College infrastructure (classrooms, benches, water supply) is good enough.

Dislikes

Not as dislike, college canteen should be extended to more seating.

Placement Experience:

Currently, I am in my second year of B.Tech. As a second-year student, I have no idea about this field in college so I can say as per my idea, our college's last year's highest package is 20LPA. So I am glad and hope it will happen the same way for me. And sometimes we usually go to the industry visits that is one of best activities from the college.

Getting Good Internships.

Likes

College environment is most scenic and that greenery atrracts everyone.
Faculty teaching style. all faculty always follow to cover both theoretical and practical things.
Freedom of dress code. in this college there is no specific dress code while anybody cross their limits in dressing they must be punished.

Dislikes

Canteen: College canteen is some what good but would be wonderful when increasing the menu and seating.

Placement Experience:

As a second-year student, I have a very small idea of the placement. Based on my perspective, 3rd-year students get internships, and final-year students get placements. Based on my understanding, last year the highest package in our college was 20 LPA. hope this college will train me in that way and at filnal i will also got placed with a good package.

Teaching style: There are wonderful faculty here in this college. who guides us through rather than syllabus.

Cafeteria: in our college cafeteria is small space. so it is need to exteneded.

Good college for getting a degree

Likes

Things I liked is our is around 40+ years old so the academic structure is well established but old fashioned
As it is Bachelor of engineering our college degree is good for higher studies like masters
Faculty are some what better compared to other colleges

Dislikes

No proper scope of physical education and sports
Attendance is considered very strictly and
Facilities in campus like proper sports equipment is not available for all games

From 5th sem to 8th sem campus placement gonna takes place there are many MNCs and startups visited for hiring like accenture etc and has highest package around 20 lakhs and avg package around 5lahks placement percentage is very good we can also do masters after degree

Likes

One thing I like about this college is how the environment,good weather as there are many trees and garden to seat and have some fun.
The next I like about the college is about our faculty and the infrastructure.there are amazing teacher to explain the some of the toughest subjects ,lab are too good .
If some like to prepare for some other examinations like gate,civils .we have lot of free time to prepare for all other exams

Dislikes

Even though we have a good ground, there are many people in the ground who would distrub u ,these people come here for jogging and playing different sports and but they are not from our college
Wifi is not good the signal strength in our college is not good and we don't get good internet even from the mobile networks too.this is more irritating many times.
As it is open campus many vehicles would be passing and many unknown people would there around.we just have only one technical synopsis,as many private colleges have more than one fest.

Placement Experience:

Placements are not that good, many of my friends have placed but I haven't placed yet and I am searching for the job ,and I have been applying for the placements and I have been for interview in some of them and not selected for the job.

Likes

Faculty will clear all your doubts whenever you want.
Organising social events and taking us to trips.
Faculty encouraging students to participate in various technical and social events.

Dislikes

The equipment in laboratory was not proper.
The faculty were not well trained and experienced.
Not taking us to industrial visits and sessions.

Placement Experience:

The training criteria for placements for students starts from third year.The top companies like IBM, Amazon, Microsoft, Accenture has visited our campus.The highest package offered was 20 lpa and average package offered is 3-4 lpa.50 percentage of the students will get placed in third year if not they'll get placed in 4 year.My plan after graduation is being a software engineer in a high profile company.

Academics are th best in vasavi college compared to any eamcet college in telangana
The fest is the best fest in whole telangana

Dislikes

Only studies are focused more than sports

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because of my interest in computers and mainly AI, so I chose this course. The faculty-student ratio is better but it can be improved. The qualification of the faculty here is PhD forest of the faculty and B.com for some assistant professors

since vasavi college one of top 5 college is our state, i preferd it and it have an good avg package in my branch comparing it other colleges. i compare my colleage with other in terms if infa structure, support,and our college is transpernet in terms of placement and admissions . and our college wont allowing nri cota so its an merit based college. so in our college students can acuire seat by 2 ways .one is by geting good rank like below 10k in tsemcet or else getting good rank in jee mains. so they will be spot adidmissions also based on jee ranks at end of admisssion. so i got for kmit - csm before getting admission in this college. since vasavi have good infra and palcements i prefered it. yes i got rejections form vnr college. since my rank is little higer than the cut off i got rejected....Read More
