IPEC Ghaziabad, B.Tech {Hons.}, Electronics and Communication Engineering

Reviewed on May 4, 2017

Remarks

This college have some excellent faculty specially some of from ECE department and some off from mechanical department. best part of this college many company visit for recruitment process but only they only offer CS and IT related job. No core ECE company visited to this college which is the worst part of this college. And for civil and mechanical this college is hell no recruitment .

Entrance Preview

I took UPTU entrance exam conducted by uptu every year ,i have forgotten the marks scored in uptu examination and i get this college in counseling so i took admission.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

College follow UPTU syllabus and i think we have to change this one connot be a master in c language in single semester which is required further when we study microcontroller and other things so course should be changed for a ECE student. course should be as per requirement of industries need

Internships Opportunities

No internship, even they don't know about this and if someone got the opportunity to work with some company they will not even support you. specially the HOD he has the worst in management although the faculty are good and support you.

Placement Experience

Here placement is only for CS and IT student. if you are from CS and IT student and have some good programming language the you dont have to worry about placement in this college. and for other branch placement are not good no core company visited to our college.

College Events

1. college fest celebrated every year 2. college sports day 3. genetronixs 4. udhbhav 5. technical event and some other event,

Fees and Financial Aid

In term of scholarship they provide a 1 k price reward for the toppers of the college and the most most worst thing about this college is they demand to each and every rupee of semester fee in single payment , you cannot pay you fee in installation. I have seen many parents begging for the admission for there children who want to pay fee in installation but they don't allow you to do so. your child cannot allow to seat in class until and unless you pay entire course fee in single payment.

Hostel Facilities

1.5

Hostel facility is good well maneged but food is not as per standard quality and the wifi connection is for 24 hr it only avalible for 6hr power backup is good

External Expense: Rs.7000 - Rs.10000

Alumni/Alumna

Alumni network is good and i have a good contact with my seniors

Exam Structure

Exam structure is good they conduct seasonal, PUT, etc very well.

Admission

I got admission in this institution through counselling procedure conducted by uptu every year after successful completion of entrance exam. And those who qualify the entrance exam they have to appear in counselling procedure for college selection and seat booking.

Faculty

faculty member are excellent specelly from ece department.

“A Good College for Learning and Growth”

Likes

Being a CSE student I get the opportunity to learn about computer science and improve my skills The college experience also helps me understand the importance of practical knowledge

Dislikes

The placement support could be improved especially by providing more opportunities for students to get internships and jobs in reputed companies

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course covers important subjects related to computer science and programming. It gives basic technical knowledge, but more practical learning is needed. Exams are held every semester, along with internal tests and practicals. Some subjects are easy, while others need more preparation. Overall, the course is good, but adding more real-world projects would help students learn better.

"The Place for Unlocking Potential"

Likes

Firstly the environment is what I liked the most when I first joined the college cause this type of greenery and atmosphere is very less found
Secondly it would be the seniors , the seniors are really helpful at times of need and are really friendly
Thirdly it would be how the education system work , there isn't an overload of assignment or projects on the student , so it's very easy to focus on our studies

Dislikes

Personally it would be a long distance for me ...cause travelling by bus consumes a lot of time and energy
The thing I disliked the most would be the people around me and their way of thinking cause I just don't like the way they converse . I don't know about a few of them but most of the people I met are really sweet and soft spoken
Lastly it would be the fee structure for me ...cause being a private institution it can offer a more affordable fee structure

Course Curriculum Overview:

The reason I chose B. Tech in data science and artificial intelligence is because nowadays we know how AI has its influence over almost every field and every company requires a candidate who is well known about AI . Particularly I opted for data science because I wanted to be a data analyst from the start cause it just fascinates me about how differently we can see and arrange data in so many ways and also the market value of being a data analyst is quite high nd not easily found

Inderprastha Engineering College Ghaziabad honest review

I applied to Delhi University but they did not have btech so I did not select that college. Apart from this I applied to rkgit and niet but they were too far from Delhi. I did not get rejection, I just couldn't join them because either they did not have the course I wanted or they were too far from my home. My college admission process is pretty simple, you can take direct admission by visiting the college or fill councelling online and select this college. One needs to score around 3 to 4 lakh rank in jee for cse branch in btech and for other courses jee is not important you just have to score more than 60% in boards for pcm....Read More

My review on Inderprastha engineering college

Other than IPEC, i wanted to join SRM Chennai. I was not able to join cause i was late to application and the only course that was available was Biotechnology. So i joined IPEC, in year 2021 it was under top 10 category for top colleges of AKTU. And also it was close to my home. Easy transportation, close to home, nice infrastructure. The admission process was quite easy, it took almost three days for me to fulfill it. And out of that one was only college tour day. Other two days took to fees submission and all documents submissions. The eligibility was decided by affiliated universitythat is AKTU, which is most of the time around minimum 70-75% in PCM. Other that the results of JEE are also accepted....Read More
