Good things - Chiiled Life High Speed Internet Focused Studies New Technologies and New subjects Bad Things Faculty Exams structure College Fees

Entrance Preview

AIEEE exam and not sure about the score now. Looking at the advertisements and one of my senior from my high school has recommended me LPU for B.Tech and more over when I searched on Google about LPU, I found it to be a good college to join

Course Curriculum Overview

4

Lovely Professional University focus on learning and they understand the courses need to be updated from time to time like I did B.Tech in IT and Faculty and Dean understand they can not keep the same subjects every year as IT sector is very demanding and changes in Technology is happening at a rapid pace. So we are provided to learn subjects which were currently in demand in market like we got 1 subject of STORAGE which other colleges did not have at that point of time.

Internships Opportunities

Yes college provided internship but as per my knowledge they do not provide any stipend. There were few of my classmates who got their internship from college has very bad experience as they have to work from 8 am to 7 pm and they have to do is update the website of college which includes no learning.

Placement Experience

3

LPU focuses on placements and provide job opportunities. Companies like Accenture, IBM, HCL, Aon Hewitt come to campus and they take many students from the campus. But rest is upto student how they present themselves at the time of interview and if they get selected or not. But to answer the question - Yes College provides placements

College Events

4.5

Lots of fests happen aroud 2-3 fests every months. More overe there are celebrity night where a celebrity comes to perform and every weekend there is some shooting of movie - Hindi/Punjabi. Technical and cutural and managements are celebrated and entry is not restricted to paticular group of students

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fees is very expensive. A poor student can not afford the college fees. Though scholarship is provided but still fees is very high. Students can opt for loans on attractive interest rates. Fees need to be submitted per semester and need to pay in 15 days window period

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes. In my time of college PNB was providing very attractive student loans offer. Apart from PNB, SBI Patiala was also providing attractive loan offers

Campus Life

4.5

Gender Ration - More Girls Hostel - You will be surrounded by girls in campus. More over in classes there is equal boys: girls ration Campus Life - Smooth life, every thing is available in campus, you do not need to go to near by cities for any thing. Every thing is available with in campus diversity - Students from all over the world studies. More over from other parts of India like - Assam, Nagaland, J&K, Delhi, Tamil Nadu and Uttar Pradesh would be found every where in campus

Hostel Facilities

4.5

Hostel Facilities - Desert Cooler AC Attach Washrooms 2 Fans, 2 Tube lights 24 hours water High speed internet Mess Food - 3 times food with different menu every time of day and every day of week Food quality is average but edible. Clean water and mess timings are strict

Alumni/Alumna

Yes it is very helpful. If ask any senior for help, they will guide you thorouly and help you in studies as well as in sports as well

Exam Structure

exam structure was chilled out. Attendance had marks counted in finals, Assignments had marks counted in final and Lab test had marks as well. Scoring good marks in above mentioned, would make confidence of getting good marks in finals. There were mid terms and then finals.

Admission

When you go to Admission Department, they will ask you to submit the copy of AIEEE score and with that I deposited Rs 10,000 as admission fees. After that I got call from the college I got selected and can opt for B.Tech in IT, CS or ECE department and from which I selected B.Tech IT and then I submitted the 1st semester fee with hostel fees

Faculty

3

Faculty is average, though college administration tries to bring faculty from IIT/IIIT but still I think faculty did not pay much attention in subject. All they focus on is completing the course/book and assignments. For instance in my last semester, I had my seniors teaching us 2 subjects out of 6 subjects. Though I do not doubt their capabilities but still I think an experience faculty should be assigned to Final year students

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is well structured and covers both theoretical concepts and practical skills relevant to the course. It provides a good foundation for real-world applications and further studies. Exams are conducted regularly and are generally manageable with proper preparation. The curriculum could be improved by adding more practical projects, industry exposure and updated topics.

Placement Experience:

placement is good in our college. Aveage package is 400000, and average package for cse stream is approx 500000. Various companies like alstom, infosys, accenture, TCS, Wipro, amazon, Walmart, JP Morgan chase and co. etc visit campus every year and recruit students. Approx 300+ companies visit campus and above 80% of cse students are placed but In other streams like ECE.EE and ME etc placements are campartively lower and students face difficulty in order to get placed. MY plan is job oriented i also want to get placed on campus and hope so i will get placed in a good company.
