Remarks

I have taken admission in the college through my JEE mains rank by filling the counseling form of UPTU but students can also take direct admission through their 12th mark sheet as well. The management was good at the admission hall but I want that document submission should be done online.

Course Curriculum Overview

I chose this course as I want to pursue Computer Science. The ratio of faculty: students is around 1:50. The teachers are qualified enough to teach you the things that are in the syllabus but sometimes they lack knowledge if you ask them questions that are out of the syllabus. The semester exams were delayed due to Corona. The semester exams and not that difficult if you study regularly.

Class Size: 68Course Fees: INR 125603 per year

Placement Experience

3.5

About 90 percent of the students get placements. The highest package that the student gets is above 20 lakhs but the average package is around 6-7 lakhs. Many companies come to our college like TCS, Accenture, Wipro, and Vivo. Many students get internships in their 3rd year.

Fees and Financial Aid

There is no fixed policy of fees hike in our college. The annual fee of college now are 1,25,603.The scholarship is given to the students whose parents annual income is up to 200000 rupees. Their fees reduces to 54000 rupees per annum. I am in the 1st year so I do not have a job.

Campus Life

The annual fest is conducted in the college in April by the name unifest. Many books and journals are available in the library. There is an exhaust fan in the classroom to maintain the ventilation. There are many clubs in the college which are run by students for the other students.

Hostel Facilities

I do not reside in a college hostel rather I reside in the hostel outside the campus. There are many hostels near the college area which provide good services and the quality and taste of food are also okay and the registration process is also very simple.

Hostel Fee: INR 135000 per year

Overall Feedback for College - Admission , Placement , Course , Faculty , Events

Likes

the security is nice at my college like proper cctv and guards , apart from that labs , and my dept is too good. Ac classroom and labs
They have provided average placement like most of companies are mass hiring like tcs and accenture ..and only few companies come to offer big package
Infrastructure is good but there is need of reconstruction at some places the water is ticking in rain season continuously, and curriculum is okay okay not that much relevant to industry , they taught text books rather than the real practical cases

Dislikes

The examination checking - the student who is cr or having any relation with teachers got highest marks without writing the answer properly
The food canteen first of all the canteen is off from the past 1 or 2 year and now it reopen but it sells dirty food , waste foods
The college professor support , they are not that much supportive

Course Curriculum Overview:

coding I am interested in coding that why I offer this course It provide some courses but not all courses are related to real world they have to use practical examples and make students aware of the real industry According to me the time and frequency is okay of exam

What I See at SRM Ghaziabad

Likes

I really appreciated the college clubs and hackathons.
There are variety of events throughout the semester, something to always keep you on your feet.
Some of the faculties are really really experienced and have a unique approach that captures the attention of all the students.

Dislikes

Not many hotspots around campus to hang out after classes.
The infrastructure of the hostel can be improved a lot.
Food in mess is not great, the menu is not very diverse. Everything has aloo.

Placement Experience:

Placements are actually impressive with our college having the highest placement rate among others in the region. We usually achieve ~90% placement. We get opportunities from many large groups, such as Infosys, TCS, JPMC, BNY, Logitech, etc etc The list goes on. The highest package that I saw was of around 1Cr from a company I don't remember their name, but it was based out of SF and was a really great one. Average placement we see is around 12-20LPA packages.

The campus has all basic facilities from food to stationary.

Dislikes

The food may sometimes be not very good.
The campus has less places to spend some free time other than some spots.
Due to small academic hall places may look too crowded.

Placement Experience:

The placements in the college is really one of the the factors convincing everyone to take admission in SRM ,average package from the college is of around 10,00,000 which is really a very good amount in todays stresfull market.

Galgotias College Brutal Honest Review

I have applied for Bihar State Nalanda college, chandi. It gave me aerospace engineering. I didn't choose that because their course curriculum with their faculties and college culture is not fit for getting placement. I wanted some placement oppurtunities through my college and GCET is suitable for it because of their location and college culture. My admission process of my college is through direct admission as well as UPTAC counselling. Direct admission is for those who have low JEE ranks and outside of UP and are early comers. Counselling is for merit based admission for UP students generally with better JEE ranks than direct admission students....Read More

I have also applied for JIIT Noida, but couldn't able to get CSE branch. However, In greater noida, comparing to other private colleges, GCET is much better option because of its location, fee structure, campus size. Admission process happened through AKTU counselling, also 15% seats researved for direct admission as well. Exams like JEE mains and percentile above 85 is required for CS branch and vary according to course....Read More
