Remarks

The admission process was easy. first had to take part in IPU online counselling then had to take offline counselling. Where we had to give our documents and submit the fees Process was super convenient

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

I choose this course so that I can get placement easily and I had an interest in coding and stuff. And I see myself working for MNC in future so this was the perfect and easiest way I can find to get a job in one of my dream companies. The faculty is really good. And the student ratio is pretty better than other BTech colleges :)

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 128000 per year

Placement Experience

I am about to enter in 2 years so I have heard from seniors that campus placement starts from the 4th year which is normal for most the BTech colleges. also, there are internship opportunities for 3 years. so it will be a fun journey.. taking part in some internships

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees are normal and since it's a private college 1.28lakhs looks pretty normal. I have also applied for a scholarship from the side of the state government but haven't received an update yet will update it here when I will get a scholarship

Campus Life

4.5

The campus is a bit small but maintained very nicely... Since the college has fewer courses like only 6 courses it makes a bit of sense. But it would have been nice if the campus was a bit big. The library is pretty nice and filled with informative books

How Good B.Tech. from JAMIA MILLIA ISLAMIA is?

Likes

Here in Jamia the faculty is very experienced in their fields , they make you feel Engineering and not to just read books. there teaching methods are amog the top in the nation
the curriculum not just focus on your engineering but also focuses on your personality development.
the infrastructure itself gives you the feel of oldness and the reputation of the college.

Dislikes

one bad thing is its less availability of Hostel rooms .
there is a very strict rule of 75% attendance .

Placement Experience:

Placements at Jamia Millia Islamia are not too high or too low and depend on the branch. Students can apply for placements starting from their 7th semester. Big companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Accenture, and some startups come to recruit. The average salary offered is between 7 to 8 lakhs per year, but there are not many students who get higher packages. About 40 to 60 percent of students get placed. Many students also work on getting into higher studies or look for jobs outside the campus after they finish their degree.

I like the infrastructure of my college. College have provided us AC rooms with clean washrooms. Qualified teachers. Maintained decorum. Most important it is a government college.
Smart classes are available in every room. Cantens are available.
There are many labs for every subject either it's of EE, ECE, CSE

Dislikes

New college so there are no societies or clubs.
Fees is too high for general category students.
No facilities of hostel available in our college

Course Curriculum Overview:

I am an Electrical Engineering student. I chose this course because the demand for skilled Electrical Engineers is high leads to job security and also we can keep our options open for other fields by choosing this branch.

The Dream College Life

Likes

The campus is completely different from the whole city, it is more cleaner and is quiet peaceful with various different beautiful views at different points and is not too big so could easily walk through the campus.
Has really great architecture of the buildings and is surrounded by really intelligent people including some over the top profs and some really great minds from the country.
The night life is completely different and is one of the best part of staying in campus.

Dislikes

some of the hostels are quiet old and need renovation.

Placement Experience:

If you study passionately and have decent communication skills and some important competencies, I assure you that you will secure a position in a great company. Here at IIT Delhi, you earn what you work for; you can receive salary packages as high as 2 crores, but some offers start as low as 4 lakhs per annum.

I choose this college because this offers a good balance of academics, and location .Compared to othercolleges BPIT has decent placement opportunities and a disciplined academic environment .Also its location in Delhi povides better exposureand careeropportunities . The admission process is mainly based on the entrance exams and centralised counselling .After registrationon the IPU portal, students participate inchoice filling and seat allotment .Once the seat is alloted , they need to pay the fees and complete document verification....Read More
