Remarks

I got to this college through the AKTU exam. Currently, students get admission to my college through JEE Mains. My college also provides admission through donations as some percentage of seats are reserved for these seats. Anyone can fill out the application through the college website. It also provides some edge to the reserved students. The admission process to my college is smooth.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

As our college is related through AKTU university. So it has a very good course curriculum. Some faculty in my college also graduated from the premier institute like IITs , NITs and IISCs. Faculty of my college is very supportive and punctual in the classroom.

Class Size: 70Course Fees: INR 109603 per year

Internships Opportunities

Some companies provide internships to skilled students. And they hire for the role of assistant system engineers roles. Some students also get an internship for the role of Software development engineer to deserving candidates.

Placement Experience

4.5

Students start to sit in placement in 7 semesters. Some big service-based companies like TCS, Infosys, and cognizant. Generally, TCS hired students in huge numbers as it is a mass recruiter company. In the CSE department, most of the students get placed.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees of my college are 109603 and take 20000 security fees at the time of admission. It is also relevant as compared to other private college in our region. It also provides fee assistance to financially weak students.

Campus Life

In our college, there are various clubs and societies. It provides overall growth to every student. In our college, there is a central library which has various kinds of books like competitive and other government exam books like a gate, ies.

Hostel Facilities

Our college has a nice hostel for the students for accommodation. It has a gym, a common TV room, and some indoor games. It has an automatic washing machine for the students to wash their clothes. Rooms are allotted to the students on a first come first serve basis.

Hostel Fee: INR 90000 per year

Overall Feedback for College - Admission , Placement , Course , Faculty , Events

Likes

the security is nice at my college like proper cctv and guards , apart from that labs , and my dept is too good. Ac classroom and labs
They have provided average placement like most of companies are mass hiring like tcs and accenture ..and only few companies come to offer big package
Infrastructure is good but there is need of reconstruction at some places the water is ticking in rain season continuously, and curriculum is okay okay not that much relevant to industry , they taught text books rather than the real practical cases

Dislikes

The examination checking - the student who is cr or having any relation with teachers got highest marks without writing the answer properly
The food canteen first of all the canteen is off from the past 1 or 2 year and now it reopen but it sells dirty food , waste foods
The college professor support , they are not that much supportive

Course Curriculum Overview:

coding I am interested in coding that why I offer this course It provide some courses but not all courses are related to real world they have to use practical examples and make students aware of the real industry According to me the time and frequency is okay of exam

What I See at SRM Ghaziabad

Likes

I really appreciated the college clubs and hackathons.
There are variety of events throughout the semester, something to always keep you on your feet.
Some of the faculties are really really experienced and have a unique approach that captures the attention of all the students.

Dislikes

Not many hotspots around campus to hang out after classes.
The infrastructure of the hostel can be improved a lot.
Food in mess is not great, the menu is not very diverse. Everything has aloo.

Placement Experience:

Placements are actually impressive with our college having the highest placement rate among others in the region. We usually achieve ~90% placement. We get opportunities from many large groups, such as Infosys, TCS, JPMC, BNY, Logitech, etc etc The list goes on. The highest package that I saw was of around 1Cr from a company I don't remember their name, but it was based out of SF and was a really great one. Average placement we see is around 12-20LPA packages.

Due to small academic hall places may look too crowded.

Placement Experience:

The placements in the college is really one of the the factors convincing everyone to take admission in SRM ,average package from the college is of around 10,00,000 which is really a very good amount in todays stresfull market.

Galgotias College Brutal Honest Review

I have applied for Bihar State Nalanda college, chandi. It gave me aerospace engineering. I didn't choose that because their course curriculum with their faculties and college culture is not fit for getting placement. I wanted some placement oppurtunities through my college and GCET is suitable for it because of their location and college culture. My admission process of my college is through direct admission as well as UPTAC counselling. Direct admission is for those who have low JEE ranks and outside of UP and are early comers. Counselling is for merit based admission for UP students generally with better JEE ranks than direct admission students....Read More

I have also applied for JIIT Noida, but couldn't able to get CSE branch. However, In greater noida, comparing to other private colleges, GCET is much better option because of its location, fee structure, campus size. Admission process happened through AKTU counselling, also 15% seats researved for direct admission as well.
