Its mandatory to sit in JEE Mains, Apply for councelling on JACdelhi.nic.in seat allocation is based on the AIR. Also there are multiple reservation option like Defence, single girl child apart from traditional reservation system.
Course Curriculum Overview
DTU is a primer college for engineering, especially for Mechanical Engineering. There are around 40-50 teachers in each department. The teacher must have at least a Ph.D. degree. Everything was on time and exams were of moderate level.
Internships Opportunities
Many companies turn up for internships at DTU. Depending on the branch you are from, there are companies for Computer Science, IT, ECE, EE, Mechanical and other departments. Last year we saw Qualcomm, Toshiba, Tata Steel, Mazars, Tata Power DDL, and Delloite amongst others coming for internships, and this number seems to be growing.
Placement Experience
College Placements are good and there are variety of companies visiting every year. 300+ Companies visited the campus and and 80% + students got on campus placements. Companies like fang, Big4 and other reputed companies visit our campus.
Fees and Financial Aid
Every year there is a 10-15% hike in fees and the average fee for a year would be 200000 for the B.Tech course. There are multiple options for scholarships from Delhi Government as well as from campus and the same can be availed if the criteria are met.
Campus Life
We have got enough things to do on campus. Societies, clubs, sports grounds, gyms, fests, libraries, indoor courts, canteen, etc. are enough to keep the students hooked. Annual fests are conducted in January, February, and March majorly. The library is big and strong enough to help you get any book, it's big, quiet, and clean and provides a nice place to spend some time studying for exams. Societies are present in plenty, debate groups are also there.
