Remarks
Only JEE qualifiers can take admission to this college. Application forms are available on the NSUTs official website and JEE website. Seat reservations are available for OBCs SCs STs and economically weaker sections. The admission process is simple and does not require much effort.
Course Curriculum Overview
I am doing engineering and a B. Tech. The artificial intelligence branch is the best and it provides better placements than any other branch. There is good faculty in our college. Teachers are available for all branches of our college. All professors are well qualified. Some of them had worked for MNCs and now they are working as a lecturer in our college. They are well experienced and have good communication skills. There are 2 exams organized every semester. Mid-sem and end-sem followed by practicals. exams are not very tough and can be cleared with some effort.
Placement Experience
From the 6th semester students becomes eligible for placements and start preparing for placements. There are various popular companies proving placements to our college. Some of these are amazon, jio, tinder, sometimes google, Lloyd, etc. Various other not very famous companies also provide good packages. The highest package received by a student in recent times in our college is 30 lakh per year by google and the average package received by students is 7 lakh. Nearly 75 % of the students are provided with different packages every year by various companies. I am also working on my coding and preparing for getting a good placement and package in the company.
Fees and Financial Aid
Actually the fees are comparatively high compared to other colleges of this level. The minimum fees for most of the courses of this college are approximately 1 lakh. Hostel and examination fees are not included. Slight variation can be seen in fees every year. Scholarships are provided to brilliant students and other students who belong to economically weaker sections and many other reservation-based scholarships are also available. Various scholarship-based programs are organized in college from time to time.
Campus Life
The annual fest of our college is moksha. The last time it was organized recently in the month of February. Singer KK was the main attraction of our fest this year. The condition of the library is good. Course-related as well as research-based books are available. Many other journals and magazines are also available. Classrooms are well furnished and maintained. ACs are only available in the new buildings. Good sports facilities are available. The best sports facility of our college is the basketball court. Grounds for kabaddi and race track are also available. There is an official social group of NSUT run by students. But various info pages and meme pages are available.
