Remarks

The admission process is pretty simple and you just to have filled out the application form available on the college website! Then you will receive a call from the college and you have to visit the college for further process. You must have at least 60% in 12th and a valid rank in JEE Mains for eligibility for the course!

Course Curriculum Overview

The faculty at GCET is probably the best in its competitive college. I personally opted for B.tech because I wanted to do something in the field of technology. Teachers are highly qualified and per teacher, there are 40 students. Exams are held on time and to be honest, it's not that difficult to score well!

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 125903 per year

Internships Opportunities

4.5

College provides ample opportunities for its students to get internships at good companies. Internships can be both paid or unpaid depending upon your skills and one thing is to remember that the more the projects and internships, the more the chances of you getting placed!

Placement Experience

Galgotias College provides good placement assistance to its students and a lot of companies visit our campus offering good packages! Even big tech giants like Amazon, Google, Microsoft, and Facebook offer up to 35-40 LPA to some students! Students become placed after the 6th semester and get placed according to their skills!

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee for 1st year is 125603 for the further years, it's 109603. You can avail yourself of a scholarship if you are eligible. You can directly contact the financial department if you want some extra financial help. College is quite helpful in this regard!

Campus Life

For someone looking to enjoy that college life, everyone wishes for! Then welcome, you're at the right place as college takes care that students have full exposure to social life and clubs are there that you can join and take part in every activity that college offers. Sports Fests are held every semester as well.

Hostel Facilities

4.5

College Hostel is located just inside the college and rooms are available like double seater, triple seater etc! The hostel is fully AC and well-furnished. A Badminton court and other sports facility are available inside the hostel itself! Hostel fees are around 120000 for the double seater and Most importantly food provided is HYGENIC AND TASTY! I would suggest you get the college hostel instead of any other PG or rented room!

Hostel Fee: INR 120000 per year

Overall Feedback for College - Admission , Placement , Course , Faculty , Events

Likes

the security is nice at my college like proper cctv and guards , apart from that labs , and my dept is too good. Ac classroom and labs
They have provided average placement like most of companies are mass hiring like tcs and accenture ..and only few companies come to offer big package
Infrastructure is good but there is need of reconstruction at some places the water is ticking in rain season continuously, and curriculum is okay okay not that much relevant to industry , they taught text books rather than the real practical cases

Dislikes

The examination checking - the student who is cr or having any relation with teachers got highest marks without writing the answer properly
The food canteen first of all the canteen is off from the past 1 or 2 year and now it reopen but it sells dirty food , waste foods
The college professor support , they are not that much supportive

Course Curriculum Overview:

coding I am interested in coding that why I offer this course It provide some courses but not all courses are related to real world they have to use practical examples and make students aware of the real industry According to me the time and frequency is okay of exam

What I See at SRM Ghaziabad

Likes

I really appreciated the college clubs and hackathons.
There are variety of events throughout the semester, something to always keep you on your feet.
Some of the faculties are really really experienced and have a unique approach that captures the attention of all the students.

Dislikes

Not many hotspots around campus to hang out after classes.
The infrastructure of the hostel can be improved a lot.
Food in mess is not great, the menu is not very diverse. Everything has aloo.

Placement Experience:

Placements are actually impressive with our college having the highest placement rate among others in the region. We usually achieve ~90% placement. We get opportunities from many large groups, such as Infosys, TCS, JPMC, BNY, Logitech, etc etc The list goes on. The highest package that I saw was of around 1Cr from a company I don't remember their name, but it was based out of SF and was a really great one. Average placement we see is around 12-20LPA packages.

Due to small academic hall places may look too crowded.

Placement Experience:

The placements in the college is really one of the the factors convincing everyone to take admission in SRM ,average package from the college is of around 10,00,000 which is really a very good amount in todays stresfull market.

I have applied for Bihar State Nalanda college, chandi. It gave me aerospace engineering. I didn't choose that because their course curriculum with their faculties and college culture is not fit for getting placement. I wanted some placement oppurtunities through my college and GCET is suitable for it because of their location and college culture. My admission process of my college is through direct admission as well as UPTAC counselling. Direct admission is for those who have low JEE ranks and outside of UP and are early comers. Counselling is for merit based admission for UP students generally with better JEE ranks than direct admission students....Read More

I have also applied for JIIT Noida, but couldn't able to get CSE branch. However, In greater noida, comparing to other private colleges, GCET is much better option because of its location, fee structure, campus size. Admission process happened through AKTU counselling, also 15% seats researved for direct admission as well.
