College worth every penny

The college admission is based on all India rank in jee mains examination. After this, you will have to separately apply for JAC Delhi Counselling. It is done in parallel with Josaa counselling. The application forms are available on the official JAC Delhi website. There are 6 to 7 rounds of counselling varying each year. The cutoff for each category is released at the end of each round.

I am in pursuing Mechanical engineering I took this course because DTU's Mechanical engineering is one of the best in India. Here each class consist of 70 to75 students. the professors are very well qualified and student-friendly. With respect to exams, I can say that they are twice a semester which is mid-sem and end-sem exams and if you will not study then it will be difficult to get a good CGPA.

The college provides on-campus internships during 3rd year for most tech companies through its training and placement cell. Both paid and unpaid internships are offered. Along with this, the college has a very strong alumni network which also helps to get internships easily.

The placement of DTU is brilliant. This year the placement is 97%. All the important companies and big companies like Google, Microsoft, sprinkler, Flipkart, Adobe delloite etc visit our college a total of 394 companies.15 of our seniors got package above 1 crore and the highest domestic package was of 64 lakhs.

The fees of DTU are different for each year. For us, it was 206000 per year with an increment of 10% each year. DTU provides scholarships on a merit basis but for other students, there are two main scholarships i.e of e-district and NSP.

Campus Life of DTU is very good the main fest is Engifest which is attended by around 1.5 lakhs people each year. Along this, there are other smaller but good events almost every month. The facilities like the library are available which has thousands of books, journals, magazines etc. DTU has lots of societies like tech teams dealing with racing cars , UAV' etc which represents our college in both India and abroad. It also has a very big sports complex which is well maintained and has various courts like that of basketball, volleyball, badminton, kabaddi, running track, etc and a good m with all the equipment.
