Life At VIT Bhopal

There was an entrance test for the college VITEEE. The eligibility for the course is to clear this exam and according to the rank scored in the exam, you will get admission to the college. VIT has 4 branches i.e VIT Vellore, VIT Bhopal, VIT Amravati and VIT Chennai. Yes, there is a reservation in the entrance test but I belong to the General category. You must have also passed your 12th standard from a recognized board for Admission. You need to fill out the application form for the test and a couple of months after that, there is the entrance test which is comparatively easier than JEE Mains exam. You need to score under 20,000 to get into VIT Vellore B.tech CSE and specialization then comes VIT Chennai. Let me tell you VIT Vellore is better than all other VIT College Branches and VIT Bhopal is the worst of all. Better to avoid that College rather you should opt for your state government or private colleges. Yes, there should be an improvement in the admission process.

According to me, you should take this course if you are good at logical reasoning and can easily extract logic out of a question code. Class, there are 60 to 70 students in class at VIT Bhopal so you can easily extract a ratio. Most of the faculties are qualified as doctorate faculties

There are placements in the college. They have proper Placement cells for students' careers i.e CDC ( Career Development Center). From the seventh semester, students become eligible for campus placements. The students sit in the placements and are selected on the basis of there skills that they acquire by themselves that are asked in the placement interviews that is the Data Structure and Algorithms for the Computer Science students for other fields I am unaware of that. I am still in my third year and 5th semester so I am not eligible for the placement but companies do come and make offers for the students. The highest package was 54 lakhs but only 1 student got that package. The average package is 8 lakh as per the college placement cell. I am unaware of the package as per the company. Profiles offered are according to the student's personality and professional skills. My plan after getting a degree is to get as much experience as I can gather and will try that at my level best that would help me.

The fees are collected per year and it is 195000 per year. This is what you can say is the cost to study in college. No there is no such kind of scholarship in the college. They promise to give a scholarship if the students have 95 per cent or above in the 12 standards but they didn't provide students with the scholarship as of my knowledge

There are no sports activities on the campus premises and almost no extracurricular activities just because they don't have basic amenities. The classroom is just a room with chairs and tables with a projector which rarely is used by the faculties. Yes, there are social groups, clubs or websites for students run by students they are GDSC VITbhopal, bit by bit vit Bhopal and so on in which the seniors and juniors keep organizing events. There are also different clubs for different domains in the college which are good from my experience.
