Remarks

The eligibility of the course is that at least you have to pass JEE exam with a minimum qualifying mark and get a rank. The application Fee was around 2000/- and the application form can be found on the JAC Delhi site. The dates can be found on the JAC site.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

I choose this course because of the college benefits as dtu is a Tier 1 college so here you are gonna avail yourself a great exposure and college life with hell lots of opportunities and this is the major plus point for opting for this course. The student ratio to faculty is good, with no issues. The teachers are very qualified and you are gonna learn a lot from them. Exams are quite easy to pass and mid sem, end sem are gonna happen.

Internships Opportunities

4

The companies visit in the campus are Microsoft, Apple, Amazon, TCS, Infosys, Goldmann and Sacs, Accenture, Sprinkler, and many more companies I can't list all of them and the stipend they provide varies but is in the range of 25k to 1.5 lakhs with roles in tech domain and in Non-Tech domain as well. Make sure you have a great resume with good projects in it and be prepared for the interviews.

Placement Experience

3.5

The students get eligible after the 5th sem generally for the Placements and most of them get easily placed as well you just need to be enough prepared but you can remain unplaced also if you don't work hard. Around and more than 300 companies visit the campus from Microsoft to Infosys. The highest package was 1.5 cr intl and 65 lakh Apple India. The average package is around 8 lakh in DTU. The 80% ppls get easily placement.

Fees and Financial Aid

The Fee structure is a total Fee makes to around 9 lakh and nothing like a fee hike. There are a no. of scholarships and you can avail yourself up to 100% off on tuition fees through an E-district scholarship and the NSP scholarship is also there. You should have a ration card and income certificate for District scholarship. We have USIP internships on campus and also many companies visit college for the same.

Campus Life

4.5

The campus life is quite chill and beautiful you gonna enjoy it a lot and have fun. A lot of events and fests keep taking place and many societies in the college are very much active and you will enjoy them. The library is full of books and journals. you will not face many issues in it. The annual fest in EngiFest and the tech fest in INNOVA and also YUVAAN is there the cultural fest of DTU. They are conducted after admissions in February, classrooms are quite big with AC and seat facilities. The sports and extracurricular activities are very active in the college and you can go on trips to different colleges for the same. Lots of clubs and societies are active in the college, you must join them.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is good. I do not feel very pressure. The course curriculum is design by GGSIPU. There is not spefific reason to choose to this course. It was my childhood dream to become computer engineer. I cant say that the curriculum prepares for real world applications because I am just second year students. The exam conducted on semester basis and its not very difficult.

Placement Experience:

Placements at Jamia Millia Islamia are not too high or too low and depend on the branch. Students can apply for placements starting from their 7th semester. Big companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Accenture, and some startups come to recruit. The average salary offered is between 7 to 8 lakhs per year, but there are not many students who get higher packages. About 40 to 60 percent of students get placed. Many students also work on getting into higher studies or look for jobs outside the campus after they finish their degree.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course Curriculum for ECE in my clg is quite up to date and comprehensive, covering both core subjects and emerging areas of technology, which was a major factor in my decision to choose this branch. Course has a balanced theory with practical exposure, supported by great faculties guidance and well-maintained lab conditions. Also you get to choose the type of minor or specilaization you want to pursue after 1st year. Exams are conducted regularly after each semester, and levels are same as any engineering college would have.

I would not suggest On Campus placement for this college as the placement cell is not very good here. However one can score a great package if they develop skills in the field of chemical engineering.
