Remarks

There was no entrance exam the admission process was based on the JEE Mains ranking they were conducting the round based 9n the application received. Then the mail is forwarded to the student for acceptance of the seat if he doesn't confirm there would probably be another round after that for other participants.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

The faculty members are quite good and the curriculum is revised as per the industrial need so we can say that if you want to study seriously then it is the best place for you. As we see the student-to-teacher ratio in the engineering branch is quite good.

Class Size: 130Course Fees: INR 194000 per year

Internships Opportunities

The internship opportunities are the same as placement. The college provides several options for the internship and mainly the internship is paid either as a stipend or as a bonus. Internships in other fields are mainly project based.

Placement Experience

The campus placement is the best part of this University as it provides a lot of opportunities for students from every field to be placed there are core branch jobs and also noncore or nontech jobs available for the engineering student. We can say that getting placement after passing out is common at Nirma University.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure is based on the per semester method the per term fee is 94000 and some security deposit is included so it reaches 194000 per year. The fee hike is expected to be 8000 per year. There will be quite a good number of scholarships provided by the University as well as the government. But the campus job is fewer in number.

Campus Life

The campus life in Nirma is amazing .there are a lot many clubs in Nirma for everything you could think of. The sports club is also there which growing part of Nirma University. There are club like MESA,EESA,AUGEN,NCC etc ....

Other Applied Colleges

Jain University - [JU] | Bachelor of Technology [B.Tech] (Aerospace Engineering)

PDEU , a Sweet n' Sour experience

Likes

The campus is really well built and has good classrooms with air conditioners in every class ensuring student comfort.in
Decent facilities for extra curricular activities like sports and metro connectivity as well.

Dislikes

Same old rigid curriculum that is still being taught in Tier 3 engineering colleges through out the country
Some of the faculty even though they may be knowledgeable themselves, fail to deliver their thoughts in an efficient way to the students
Attendance criteria is relatively strict at around 80% on paper but you can still do with 70+ percentage.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements from the 7th Semester and companies start visiting at that time. The no. of companies that visit are around 30+ and the highest package offered last time was around 25+ LPA. The average package is 7-8LPA. Some of the companies that visit are Accenture,TCS, Infosys, JP Morgan(students got placed from a Hackathon)

Likes

The campus view is awesome we all will see new things everytime and it feels fresh at the morning.
The personal development of particular students have been in focus of every faculty which is awesome.
The behaviour towards students of every professor is the best all are understanding and calm towards students.

Dislikes

There is a system of gate pass means whenever u need to go out of main gate with the permission we are not allowed to go.
In hostel the washrooms are not so clean for the students with common washroom hostel
The mess food are boring sometimes and the food of the food seems to be same everytime

Course Curriculum Overview:

- I have a great interest in coding and this field is based on coding so i choosed the computer field. -The curriculum of the college are based on the things which will help us in future for real world application. -The way they i based on pdf means they make a full note of a subject in pdf and explain that and which makes clear to us so I don't think they should change. -There is a enough time to study for exams it depends on us how me manage it and the difficulty level is medium it is based on what we have understood till now in studies we have studied.

The collage infrastructure is really good and vibrant, it is well developed.
Campus life is really good, there are food courts, playground, libraries avaliable.
The whole campus has wifi avaliable, they've got atm too.

Dislikes

there are quite a few restrictions like no roaming allowed after 9:30pm.
mess food is not so good, its managable but sometimes it feels miserable
for every small thing to be done, lots of paperwork is required whether you need to go outside the campus or needs a NOC

Placement Experience:

in my unversity, proper placements usually start from 7th sem, however after 4th sem, the collage provides the opputunity to go for impact traning if youve got more than 60% in your 10th, 12th and throughtout the semesters from that traning top permorning student get a chance to sit for product-based companies. as of now (jan 2026), the highest placement recorded is 60lpa at microsoft, the average is aroudn 3.5 lps to 6 lpa, most of the recruiting companies are service based such as capgemini, infosys, tcs etc. around 200-250 students gets palce after heavy filtering, i plan to go for higher studies,
