Remarks

The admission process is by TNEA counseling merit list of the 12th board exam. Application fees and forms are filled out online mode by the TNEA website. Reservations are for ex-servicemen and sports quota and merit list. Yes, it's a fair okay, and an easy way of getting seats in the college.

Course Curriculum Overview

I like engineering basically in that I'll like the electrical core side I'm very patient with electrical items. The faculty are very kind even though it is a government College they are sincere with work and teaching. All facilities are Doctorate holders. Totally three internal exams per semester and one final exam.

Class Size: 500Course Fees: INR 6810 per year

Internships Opportunities

Internships are availed for the students by the college itself as a student is the first to graduate the government provides an internship with providing food and monthly packages and it gives a better experience for the students.

Placement Experience

After completion of third year students are capable for placement and attending interview there will be the placement quardinator and students are very enthusiastic in placements. There are many companies Zoho , Infosys, CTS TCS are coming for placements.

Fees and Financial Aid

Compared with the all private colleges the fees we pay for government colleges are very less and the value for money course. Although nowadays all engineering graduates are opting for IT sectors though paying huge fees for private colleges and opting for engineering studying in government is very best. While studying government awards BC/MBC scholarships a total of 10 thousand per year and availing placement opportunities according to your skill.

Campus Life

There are two function fests conducted by department students their names are electrodes and synergy. Electro fest is conducted for intra-college Students and the synergy is for inter-college students it will be conducted in April and December of the year. All books are available as we don't wanna buy a book from outside the library.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel facilities are very good as we pay lakhs of the amount in private colleges but here for 10 thousand per year giving immense of facilities bathroom facilities are very good, two members per room for 3rd year. And food facilities are homely and allow students to take food from outside.

Here there is no gender separation like boys and girls should be seperate and stuff like that.
It is a autonomous college so courses are changing regularly with the shift in education
Here we have relative grading system therefore there is no ranking and easy to get good grades

Dislikes

We have to pay yearly fees not semester wise it difficult for low income earning families
Money is collected from students for all events happening in the college.
There is a rush for collection of fees at the start of each year and unpaid students might face absent issues

Placement Experience:

Campus placements are moderate but i don't know much about other courses but for civil engineering the average placed ctc is 3 lakh per annum one or two students got higer package but most of the students got lower package as a fresher.

Placement Experience:

From 5 th semester onwards students are eligible for campus placements. Lots of companies. The highest package is 26 lakhs and the average package is 1.5 lakhs. 98% of students get placed. Doing my best in a career as an entrepreneur.

I chose this college because I am a resident of this city Salem and wanted to be a day-scholar. This college is also NAAC accredited with A+ grade and also stands as the higest graded government engineering colleges in the whole state of Tamil Nadu. The transport facility for reaching this college is also easy for me as there is availability of college bus which goes around the city to pick up the students i.e. the dayscholars all around the city. I didn't get any rejection from any other college because I got this college in my first round of counselling itself and so did not go for any other options and was not rejected by any.
