Remarks

Admission is done via an entrance exam called AKTU. Application forms can be found on the AKTU.in site. Reservation benefits are given. No benefits are needed. Paper is not very hard. SC category gets the most benefit followed by ST and OBC then the general category. No reservations for the General category are given. The faculty is good College environment is studious. The college focuses more on studies rather than events and functions. Cut off the rank is 567956.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

Exams are very frequent here. After 2 months of the semester, continuous exams are held for students to revise the concepts being taught to them. Sessional Tests, Pre University Tests followed by University Tests are held. Sessional Tests and Pre University Tests are a little bit difficult but University Tests are not that difficult. Paper is made according to the average child.

Class Size: 70Course Fees: INR 117000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Infosys, Wipro TCS, and Amazon also come to the college. Internship opportunities are decent here. However, the college doesn't allow the students to do INTERNSHIP from outside the college and don't give them extra time for that. Member of the 4-5 panel is seated with the students presenting their projects. Detailed information about the project's asked for.

Placement Experience

3.5

Students become eligible from 3rd year to sit in placements. Companies such as Wipro Amazon TCs Infosys come to the college. The highest package is 1.17Cr (off campus) and the average package is 450000inr. Mostly 80% of students are placed in the CSE branch. My plans are to get an on-campus placement in a good company.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees are taken on a yearly basis, not on a semester basis. Examination fees include an additional 8500 Indian RUPES every year for students to appear in exams held under the college. Scholarship opportunities are there for toppers of every Branch and Section.

Campus Life

No cultural or tech fest is organized by the college. The college focuses more on sports. Proper coaches of all sports including athletics are also there. Classrooms are furnished well with smart boards and mic and speakers in class along with a blackboard. Books are given in every semester starting which the child has to issue from the library and return the same books at the end of the semester. However cultural societies and other coding societies are also run on campus to boost the student's coding capacity.

Overall Feedback for College - Admission , Placement , Course , Faculty , Events

Likes

the security is nice at my college like proper cctv and guards , apart from that labs , and my dept is too good. Ac classroom and labs
They have provided average placement like most of companies are mass hiring like tcs and accenture ..and only few companies come to offer big package
Infrastructure is good but there is need of reconstruction at some places the water is ticking in rain season continuously, and curriculum is okay okay not that much relevant to industry , they taught text books rather than the real practical cases

Dislikes

The examination checking - the student who is cr or having any relation with teachers got highest marks without writing the answer properly
The food canteen first of all the canteen is off from the past 1 or 2 year and now it reopen but it sells dirty food , waste foods
The college professor support , they are not that much supportive

Course Curriculum Overview:

coding I am interested in coding that why I offer this course It provide some courses but not all courses are related to real world they have to use practical examples and make students aware of the real industry According to me the time and frequency is okay of exam

The students could come through counselling or Cbse 12th percentage i.e management, counselling is done on JEE scores and 12th percentage should be more than 75-80% in PCM for unreserved prolly...Read More

Inside AKGEC Life

1) I had applied for colleges like jss noida,gl bajaj , kiet , akgec through UPTAC counselling for those who gave JEE Exam. i preferred this college because after reading reviews about it ,consulting senior students. 2) I could get this college based on my rank . I could not make it to other colleges because of their high cutoff for the CSE branch. 3) admission process includes direct admission where students are admiitted based on 10th,12th score and branches are alloted based on their score, 2nd is through the uptac counselling for students who want to get admission through JEE Score. overall admission experience was good....Read More

so bascially i didn't choose this college . i did mistake in my uptac counselling and get this college but when i studied here and seen all the aktu colleges i prefer this is good because it ranked 3 in up colleges .the college is ranked 3 in whole up and its naac A++ so yes its a great college so to get admission in akgec there are two ways by 10+2 percentage marks or by uptac counselling you have to fill your choices in uptac counselling so fill it very carefully without any mistake so the overall to get any cs/it branch your jee percentile should be above 88 and below that you can get any other core branches....Read More
