Remarks

eligibility for the course is intermediate, and the diploma I am a diploma holder so I took admission through the UPSEE examination, I secured a 324 ranks in that exam but unfortunately got into this college. no reservation benefits, the person who has money will get admission others are left. in the admission process, I want that there is only one exam to be conducted and one counseling should be held for every college in India.

Course Curriculum Overview

2.5

I have chosen this course because I have completed my diploma in Civil Engineering. Faculty is approximately 15 teachers for the civil department and over 300 students of all 4 years In faculty some teachers are b.tech, and some are m. tech And some are p.hd. holder. Term exams are held three times in a semester, it is very easy to qualify for exams if studied.

Class Size: 120Course Fees: INR 117103 per year

Placement Experience

1.5

From 6th semester students became eligible for campus placement Only computer science companies came into college other branch students either sit in those companies or take off-campus placement Companies like TCS, and INFOSYS visit the college The average package is 4 lakh and the highest package is around 20 lakh Approximately 30 % of students get placed. I plan to prepare for government services or start a private company of contractors

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee is 1,25,000 for newly admitted students this includes 20,000 security which is refundable after competition of course. And 1,09,603 for old students. Up scholarship is applicable for students who belong from up. I am in 3rd year but do not get a job on campus stipend.

Campus Life

There are two types of clubs one is the Rotaract club which includes all students. Other are departmental clubs Such for the civil department is the aces club, I am the treasure of the aces club. We held monthly events and an annual fest named sanrachana. All the books required for the syllabus are available in the library The classroom is in the worst condition. Benches are broken, and fans do not work properly. Sports and extracurricular activities are organized by only clubs. Aces club for the civil department and Rotaract club for the whole college

Other Applied Colleges

Overall Feedback for College - Admission , Placement , Course , Faculty , Events

Likes

the security is nice at my college like proper cctv and guards , apart from that labs , and my dept is too good. Ac classroom and labs
They have provided average placement like most of companies are mass hiring like tcs and accenture ..and only few companies come to offer big package
Infrastructure is good but there is need of reconstruction at some places the water is ticking in rain season continuously, and curriculum is okay okay not that much relevant to industry , they taught text books rather than the real practical cases

Dislikes

The examination checking - the student who is cr or having any relation with teachers got highest marks without writing the answer properly
The food canteen first of all the canteen is off from the past 1 or 2 year and now it reopen but it sells dirty food , waste foods
The college professor support , they are not that much supportive

Course Curriculum Overview:

coding I am interested in coding that why I offer this course It provide some courses but not all courses are related to real world they have to use practical examples and make students aware of the real industry According to me the time and frequency is okay of exam

What I See at SRM Ghaziabad

Likes

I really appreciated the college clubs and hackathons.
There are variety of events throughout the semester, something to always keep you on your feet.
Some of the faculties are really really experienced and have a unique approach that captures the attention of all the students.

Dislikes

Not many hotspots around campus to hang out after classes.
The infrastructure of the hostel can be improved a lot.
Food in mess is not great, the menu is not very diverse. Everything has aloo.

Placement Experience:

Placements are actually impressive with our college having the highest placement rate among others in the region. We usually achieve ~90% placement. We get opportunities from many large groups, such as Infosys, TCS, JPMC, BNY, Logitech, etc etc The list goes on. The highest package that I saw was of around 1Cr from a company I don't remember their name, but it was based out of SF and was a really great one. Average placement we see is around 12-20LPA packages.

The campus has all basic facilities from food to stationary.

Dislikes

The food may sometimes be not very good.
The campus has less places to spend some free time other than some spots.
Due to small academic hall places may look too crowded.

Placement Experience:

The placements in the college is really one of the the factors convincing everyone to take admission in SRM ,average package from the college is of around 10,00,000 which is really a very good amount in todays stresfull market.

Galgotias College Brutal Honest Review

I have applied for Bihar State Nalanda college, chandi. It gave me aerospace engineering. I didn't choose that because their course curriculum with their faculties and college culture is not fit for getting placement. I wanted some placement oppurtunities through my college and GCET is suitable for it because of their location and college culture. My admission process of my college is through direct admission as well as UPTAC counselling. Direct admission is for those who have low JEE ranks and outside of UP and are early comers. Counselling is for merit based admission for UP students generally with better JEE ranks than direct admission students....Read More

I have also applied for JIIT Noida, but couldn't able to get CSE branch. However, In greater noida, comparing to other private colleges, GCET is much better option because of its location, fee structure, campus size. Admission process happened through AKTU counselling, also 15% seats researved for direct admission as well. Exams like JEE mains and percentile above 85 is required for CS branch and vary according to course....Read More
