Remarks

Verification of paper work should be minimised . During the time of admissions, a lot of students face issue while the verification process . So if that can be resolved then probably it will be more easy to take admissions.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

Lpu is known for its management and I really admire lpu for conducting exams on time and syllabus mostly covers whatever is taught in the class . So if a student is regular in the class , he/she can clear the exams easily.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 180000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

When I got the admission back in 2019 , i got 10% scholarship on the basis of my jee main performance. Also , i am in final year and i am placed in Capgemini with a good package. This was my experience.

Campus Life

A lot of groups , clubs are there which helps students enhance their skills . There are many groups running under division of students welfare where a student can visit and can choose a group based on his/her interest.

Hostel Facilities

I rented a pg in lawgate . In my rooms , all the facilities are there. Amenities including tc , ac , fridge , bed , table , chair ,geyser , microwave. Also there is a small kitchen and balcony attached . It's just 1 km away from main gate.

Hostel Fee: INR 70000 per year

during major events and peak hours the campus become crowded

Course Curriculum Overview:

the course curriculum is realvent and fairly comprehensive i choose computer science engineering because it covers importnt ares such as programming data structures data base software development and emerging technologies

Exploring life at Chandigarh University

Likes

Good and modern campus infrastructure. The university is large, modern with good classrooms, labs, hostels and tec.
Most teachers are knowledgeable, supportive and explain concepts clearly.
The university provides placement drives, training sessions, career guidance and etc.

Dislikes

Large student intake. Due to high number of students, sometimes it can be difficult to get individual attention from faculty.
During peak hours, some areas of the campus can be crowded.
The quality of hostel food is not much satisfying.

Placement Experience:

Placements at Chandigarh University are generally good, with students becoming eligible for campus placements in the later semesters, dependiing on their course. Many companies visit the campus for recruitment, offering roles in IT, engineering, management and other fields. The packages vary by company and profile with some students receiving high packages while others get average entry-level offers. Placement opportunities depend on student skills, academic performance and interview preparation. After completing my degree, I plan to secure a good job in my field, gain practical experience and continue developing my technical and professional skills.
