Life at Parul

The application process was quite simple. You just need to visit the official website of parul University. You can either apply online directly or can search for the contact numbers of the faculty. The numbers are responsive and there are different counselors allocated zone-wise. They will help you further with the application by taking down your basic details. They will further assist you with blocking the seat by provisional fee payment and the final payment and final admission have to be done after visiting the campus only. Interns and other staff are cooperative and will explain the application filling and other fees submitting procedures at the campus only.

I have pursued a BTech in computer engineering. Different courses have different faculties. The faculty is quite cooperative and we'll be qualified. Mostly hold a master's degree. The teaching method is mostly using ppt which is beneficial for students in note-making. Students can consult the teacher after class or in their free time in case of doubts they are available in staff rooms and ready to help. On weeks off like Saturdays when it is working for the staff students can come for extra classes after asking the teacher beforehand. Exams take place quarterly or at a gap of two months. Class tests take place monthly or twice a month. And assignments and tutorials are marked which is helpful in revision as well.

Parul University provides internships to students in 3rd year as coordinators who help at the time of admissions or other programs. They are certified with the same. Except that various companies do come to hire.

Placement opportunities are the best here. Especially for BTech and MBA. The highest package here is 25LPA. and the average is 6-10 LPA. 80% of the students get on-campus placements. Many go for startups and various sessions are conducted to encourage students to go for the fields they like more.

Fee structure again varies from course to course. Fees have to be submitted yearly or semester-wise. There are scholarship opportunities. Those who have scored over 80 percentage, they get a 40 percent scholarship. Those who scored 70 percent get a 30 percent scholarship and those earning 60 percent get a 20 percent scholarship. There is a fee exemption for SC/ST and OBC. Students in their final year get internship opportunities within the campus as coordinators and are provided proper certification and other benefits.

The facilities and infrastructure structure are amazing. The social life around is also good. Depends on what kind of people you are around. The library and reading rooms are always open for students. You can find a wide range of books and journals. Celebs and political leaders keep visiting the campus. Classrooms can be improved because classrooms are not that good and spacious. Fests take place in February. Dhoom fest is the most awaited fest done to celebrate with joy. Except that on different festivals arrangements are done and enjoy a lot.

Hostel facilities are available and they are good enough. The hostel that I have been allocated to has good mess facilities as well. Apart from that, there are many outlets within campus one can go and have food at affordable prices. Hostel registration is done at the time of admission only. If one does not get a room in a hostel because they are mostly full there are many places at a distance of 10 mins or 20 mins availing hostel facilities or PG at affordable rates.
