Remarks

I have taken admitted through aktu entrance exam. secure 1000 rank in that exam although I have taken Mechanical Engg because I was interested in that .moreover in my college life I also secured rank 1 in galgotia during my first year. overall I have an awesome experience.

Course Curriculum Overview

Being the topper of my branch I always have good communication with my faculty member. They are helping in nature .moreover we have a great combination of subjects. But in 3rd year you need to choose a specialization out of 3 specializations (all include diff subs in 3 or 4th year).

Class Size: 160Course Fees: INR 110000 per year

Placement Experience

4.5

Just after entering in 7 sem, all students are eligible for campus if they are on the company eligibility list like no active backlog. min 6sgpa. some of the company names are. L$T, MIND TREE, ACCENTURE, COGNIZANT, JSW, JOSH, BOSH, FRECHARE, AIRTEL ETC Nearly 150 companies highest package is about 18 LPA and avg package is 4.5lpa percentage of students placed is nearly 100%.

Fees and Financial Aid

As I m secure a good rank in aktu entrance exam that's why I choose the fee waiver seat . Due to I have no need to pay college fees although my friends pay approx 103000 to 110000. According to govt policy, eligible students are getting scholarships every year .scholarship amounts depend upon (st, sc,obc, and general). Almost every student got placed up to the end of 8sem.

Campus Life

4.5

Like very branch has there own fest .apart from branch fest, fresher party, Diwali night, Garba night, new year celebration, and many more. Here the library is so rich in terms of books. its timing is 9 am to 8 pm. Every class is fully furnished and includes a projector with all equipment in the lab. I am the volleyball captain right now and the college pays all amount if went paly anywhere out of campus.

Overall Feedback for College - Admission , Placement , Course , Faculty , Events

Likes

the security is nice at my college like proper cctv and guards , apart from that labs , and my dept is too good. Ac classroom and labs
They have provided average placement like most of companies are mass hiring like tcs and accenture ..and only few companies come to offer big package
Infrastructure is good but there is need of reconstruction at some places the water is ticking in rain season continuously, and curriculum is okay okay not that much relevant to industry , they taught text books rather than the real practical cases

Dislikes

The examination checking - the student who is cr or having any relation with teachers got highest marks without writing the answer properly
The food canteen first of all the canteen is off from the past 1 or 2 year and now it reopen but it sells dirty food , waste foods
The college professor support , they are not that much supportive

Course Curriculum Overview:

coding I am interested in coding that why I offer this course It provide some courses but not all courses are related to real world they have to use practical examples and make students aware of the real industry According to me the time and frequency is okay of exam

What I See at SRM Ghaziabad

Likes

I really appreciated the college clubs and hackathons.
There are variety of events throughout the semester, something to always keep you on your feet.
Some of the faculties are really really experienced and have a unique approach that captures the attention of all the students.

Dislikes

Not many hotspots around campus to hang out after classes.
The infrastructure of the hostel can be improved a lot.
Food in mess is not great, the menu is not very diverse. Everything has aloo.

Placement Experience:

Placements are actually impressive with our college having the highest placement rate among others in the region. We usually achieve ~90% placement. We get opportunities from many large groups, such as Infosys, TCS, JPMC, BNY, Logitech, etc etc The list goes on. The highest package that I saw was of around 1Cr from a company I don't remember their name, but it was based out of SF and was a really great one. Average placement we see is around 12-20LPA packages.

The campus has all basic facilities from food to stationary.

The food may sometimes be not very good.
The campus has less places to spend some free time other than some spots.
Due to small academic hall places may look too crowded.

Placement Experience:

The placements in the college is really one of the the factors convincing everyone to take admission in SRM ,average package from the college is of around 10,00,000 which is really a very good amount in todays stresfull market.

Galgotias College Brutal Honest Review

I have applied for Bihar State Nalanda college, chandi. It gave me aerospace engineering. I didn't choose that because their course curriculum with their faculties and college culture is not fit for getting placement. I wanted some placement oppurtunities through my college and GCET is suitable for it because of their location and college culture. My admission process of my college is through direct admission as well as UPTAC counselling. Direct admission is for those who have low JEE ranks and outside of UP and are early comers. Counselling is for merit based admission for UP students generally with better JEE ranks than direct admission students....Read More

I have also applied for JIIT Noida, but couldn't able to get CSE branch. However, In greater noida, comparing to other private colleges, GCET is much better option because of its location, fee structure, campus size. Admission process happened through AKTU counselling, also 15% seats researved for direct admission as well.
