Remarks

As I am a 2019 batch admitted student admission to the college is through UPSEE exam conducted by APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University Lucknow. In that exam, my mark was 236 and my rank was 22275, in general, .then the process is that if you have cleared the cut-off of 100 marks then they will allow you to take admitted to any of the colleges of their university .afterwards counseling happens at the starting we have to pay a sum of 20000 rupees for that which is to be adjusted into the fees if you will take admission from available seats and rounds. In the first round, I have gone government college names which are not available at my rank of mine so in round two I got some knowledge from the college unit website about various college and their cutoffs there are locking and freezing two options I choose freeze on Golgotha college of engineering technology and the most important thing is the patterns of admission nowadays got changed so reader pls go through the new pattern.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

In my personal opinion the faculty of the college are highly qualified all are minimum Masters in technology and approx 30 percent of them are even Ph.D. the exam in college is not that problematic but they are quite easy to prepare but university exam scoring is not so good.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 109603 per year

Internships Opportunities

3.5

Frankly speaking college is not able to give internships by its the students have to find by him/herself I am not sure as of my experience I am mentioning this thing so the students should make beleive in them for opportunities.

Placement Experience

3.5

This is the most important thing in the heart of the college student so the main point of discussion is the average package of college is approx 4 LPA to 5.5 LPA which is quite obvious to have as a 3 rd tier college in the India.

Fees and Financial Aid

This is a very proud moment to say that among all the private colleges of Delhi NCR Galgotia collge is having minimum fees of 109103 per year in 1 st year it was 133103 including security and various other refundable charges and UP Scholarship is applicable for college of 56 k every year.

Campus Life

Everything is according to the decorum of the campus as of demand od students they allow a student to move any part of college there is no boundation and fest and big star celebs usually come every period leads to grate exposure to college and students

Other Applied Colleges

GLA University | Bachelor of Technology [B.Tech] (Computer Science and Engineering)

This college is not able to get enough expouser as delhi ncr colleges are having.

Overall Feedback for College - Admission , Placement , Course , Faculty , Events

Likes

the security is nice at my college like proper cctv and guards , apart from that labs , and my dept is too good. Ac classroom and labs
They have provided average placement like most of companies are mass hiring like tcs and accenture ..and only few companies come to offer big package
Infrastructure is good but there is need of reconstruction at some places the water is ticking in rain season continuously, and curriculum is okay okay not that much relevant to industry , they taught text books rather than the real practical cases

Dislikes

The examination checking - the student who is cr or having any relation with teachers got highest marks without writing the answer properly
The food canteen first of all the canteen is off from the past 1 or 2 year and now it reopen but it sells dirty food , waste foods
The college professor support , they are not that much supportive

Course Curriculum Overview:

coding I am interested in coding that why I offer this course It provide some courses but not all courses are related to real world they have to use practical examples and make students aware of the real industry According to me the time and frequency is okay of exam

What I See at SRM Ghaziabad

Likes

I really appreciated the college clubs and hackathons.
There are variety of events throughout the semester, something to always keep you on your feet.
Some of the faculties are really really experienced and have a unique approach that captures the attention of all the students.

Dislikes

Not many hotspots around campus to hang out after classes.
The infrastructure of the hostel can be improved a lot.
Food in mess is not great, the menu is not very diverse. Everything has aloo.

Placement Experience:

Placements are actually impressive with our college having the highest placement rate among others in the region. We usually achieve ~90% placement. We get opportunities from many large groups, such as Infosys, TCS, JPMC, BNY, Logitech, etc etc The list goes on. The highest package that I saw was of around 1Cr from a company I don't remember their name, but it was based out of SF and was a really great one. Average placement we see is around 12-20LPA packages.

The campus has all basic facilities from food to stationary.

The food may sometimes be not very good.
The campus has less places to spend some free time other than some spots.
Due to small academic hall places may look too crowded.

Placement Experience:

The placements in the college is really one of the the factors convincing everyone to take admission in SRM ,average package from the college is of around 10,00,000 which is really a very good amount in todays stresfull market.

I have applied for Bihar State Nalanda college, chandi. It gave me aerospace engineering. I didn't choose that because their course curriculum with their faculties and college culture is not fit for getting placement. I wanted some placement oppurtunities through my college and GCET is suitable for it because of their location and college culture. My admission process of my college is through direct admission as well as UPTAC counselling. Direct admission is for those who have low JEE ranks and outside of UP and are early comers. Counselling is for merit based admission for UP students generally with better JEE ranks than direct admission students....Read More

I have also applied for JIIT Noida, but couldn't able to get CSE branch. However, In greater noida, comparing to other private colleges, GCET is much better option because of its location, fee structure, campus size. Admission process happened through AKTU counselling, also 15% seats researved for direct admission as well.
