Remarks

I get admission in Galgotia college in 2019 by giving UPTU exam but now as per Government UPTU is cancelled now to take Admission in Galgotia students should give JEE mains exam. See Admission process is not so tough it is easy you have to choose Galgotia college in your JEE mains counseling process then the college will give you the date for the admission process and inform you about all the documents which are required in the admission process and form filling process college will tell everything about this and one thing many students do not know first fees payment process will be done in DD form please remember.

Course Curriculum Overview

In my opinion, the faculty for my branch of mechanical engineering is a good maximum number of teachers studying at IIT and other Government colleges. If talk about lab it is not it is also good because at one time 20 to 25 student is allowed in the lab so everyone can understand concept and experiments easily. There is a total of 4 CAE exams 50 marks in one semester taken by the college and 1 External 100 marks exam which is taken by AKTU University papers level is not so difficult it all depends upon you how much you prepared for the exam but opinion, it is easy to pass AKTU exam.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 110000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

See friends colleges do not give any scholarships place of scholarships it will provide 10% off on every fee payment if you pay on time. The scholarship is provided by U.P. Government. Btech first-year fees are summited in college by DD 133000Rs, 2nd-year fees 110000Rs, 3rd-year fees 10830Rs, 4th-year fees 109000Rs,

Campus Life

Life at the campus is very good for the first-year student after finishing the orientation program college organize a fresher party for first year and there is one student council this council organizes fest and program on occasion like Diwali celebration, Holi celebration, DJ night, seminar, Lodi celebration, etc. There are so many clubs in this college like intern related to research like kalakrity related to decoration, singing, dancing, sports club, etc.

Other Applied Colleges

JSS Academy of Technical Education - [JSSATE] | Bachelor of Technology [B.Tech] (Mechanical Engineering)

JSS College have high fees structure more then Galgotia college

Overall Feedback for College - Admission , Placement , Course , Faculty , Events

Likes

the security is nice at my college like proper cctv and guards , apart from that labs , and my dept is too good. Ac classroom and labs
They have provided average placement like most of companies are mass hiring like tcs and accenture ..and only few companies come to offer big package
Infrastructure is good but there is need of reconstruction at some places the water is ticking in rain season continuously, and curriculum is okay okay not that much relevant to industry , they taught text books rather than the real practical cases

Dislikes

The examination checking - the student who is cr or having any relation with teachers got highest marks without writing the answer properly
The food canteen first of all the canteen is off from the past 1 or 2 year and now it reopen but it sells dirty food , waste foods
The college professor support , they are not that much supportive

Course Curriculum Overview:

coding I am interested in coding that why I offer this course It provide some courses but not all courses are related to real world they have to use practical examples and make students aware of the real industry According to me the time and frequency is okay of exam

What I See at SRM Ghaziabad

Likes

I really appreciated the college clubs and hackathons.
There are variety of events throughout the semester, something to always keep you on your feet.
Some of the faculties are really really experienced and have a unique approach that captures the attention of all the students.

Dislikes

Not many hotspots around campus to hang out after classes.
The infrastructure of the hostel can be improved a lot.
Food in mess is not great, the menu is not very diverse. Everything has aloo.

Placement Experience:

Placements are actually impressive with our college having the highest placement rate among others in the region. We usually achieve ~90% placement. We get opportunities from many large groups, such as Infosys, TCS, JPMC, BNY, Logitech, etc etc The list goes on. The highest package that I saw was of around 1Cr from a company I don't remember their name, but it was based out of SF and was a really great one. Average placement we see is around 12-20LPA packages.

Due to small academic hall places may look too crowded.

Placement Experience:

The placements in the college is really one of the the factors convincing everyone to take admission in SRM ,average package from the college is of around 10,00,000 which is really a very good amount in todays stresfull market.

I have applied for Bihar State Nalanda college, chandi. It gave me aerospace engineering. I didn't choose that because their course curriculum with their faculties and college culture is not fit for getting placement. I wanted some placement oppurtunities through my college and GCET is suitable for it because of their location and college culture. My admission process of my college is through direct admission as well as UPTAC counselling. Direct admission is for those who have low JEE ranks and outside of UP and are early comers. Counselling is for merit based admission for UP students generally with better JEE ranks than direct admission students....Read More

I have also applied for JIIT Noida, but couldn't able to get CSE branch. However, In greater noida, comparing to other private colleges, GCET is much better option because of its location, fee structure, campus size. Admission process happened through AKTU counselling, also 15% seats researved for direct admission as well.
