Remarks

Admission takes place through JEE main and management quota. You can find the admission form on the college website. There is a reservation for minorities but based on AKTU exams candidates' ranking. There is no need to change the admission process because it's the most common process for taking admission to private colleges.

Course Curriculum Overview

I choose the electrical engineering branch because it's a core branch. The faculty is good and supportive. There are good and experienced faculty who try to give the best knowledge to students. Timely exams are good practice for the student. There is an intermediate level of the exam so it's not tough to pass the exam.

Class Size: 68Course Fees: INR 110000 per year

Internships Opportunities

There are many internship opportunities in the college. During summer vacation there are many companies that are offered students to do internships from their company like Ola, Voltas, and many more companies.

Placement Experience

3.5

The placement is fine but good more for CS IT branches as usually they get more opportunities from companies hiring requirements. Almost every student get placed except backlog student but some companies also come to that hire student with one or two backlogs. My plans after getting the degree are to grow skills more in the field of IT sectors.

Fees and Financial Aid

There is a lenient cost to study. But I do get any scholarship. I got placed at the beginning of the 7th semester (on campus) in a Noida company which gave me a 20k stipend during training. At the end of 8 semesters, almost every student got placed except backlog students.

Campus Life

3.5

There are many clubs led by senior students. These clubs eventually organize many curriculum activities. Students get great opportunities to participate and get rewards. There are many pages on social media where they post their events.

Hostel Facilities

They provide 24x7 hours of electricity. Regular attendance of each and every student present in hostel rooms. Everyone has to come inside the hostel after 9:30 pm. The meal is fine but can be better. There is a monthly schedule timetable of mess. There are many hostels near the college campus.

Hostel Fee: INR 90000 per year

Overall Feedback for College - Admission , Placement , Course , Faculty , Events

Likes

the security is nice at my college like proper cctv and guards , apart from that labs , and my dept is too good. Ac classroom and labs
They have provided average placement like most of companies are mass hiring like tcs and accenture ..and only few companies come to offer big package
Infrastructure is good but there is need of reconstruction at some places the water is ticking in rain season continuously, and curriculum is okay okay not that much relevant to industry , they taught text books rather than the real practical cases

Dislikes

The examination checking - the student who is cr or having any relation with teachers got highest marks without writing the answer properly
The food canteen first of all the canteen is off from the past 1 or 2 year and now it reopen but it sells dirty food , waste foods
The college professor support , they are not that much supportive

Course Curriculum Overview:

coding I am interested in coding that why I offer this course It provide some courses but not all courses are related to real world they have to use practical examples and make students aware of the real industry According to me the time and frequency is okay of exam

What I See at SRM Ghaziabad

Likes

I really appreciated the college clubs and hackathons.
There are variety of events throughout the semester, something to always keep you on your feet.
Some of the faculties are really really experienced and have a unique approach that captures the attention of all the students.

Dislikes

Not many hotspots around campus to hang out after classes.
The infrastructure of the hostel can be improved a lot.
Food in mess is not great, the menu is not very diverse. Everything has aloo.

Placement Experience:

Placements are actually impressive with our college having the highest placement rate among others in the region. We usually achieve ~90% placement. We get opportunities from many large groups, such as Infosys, TCS, JPMC, BNY, Logitech, etc etc The list goes on. The highest package that I saw was of around 1Cr from a company I don't remember their name, but it was based out of SF and was a really great one. Average placement we see is around 12-20LPA packages.

The food may sometimes be not very good.
The campus has less places to spend some free time other than some spots.
Due to small academic hall places may look too crowded.

Placement Experience:

The placements in the college is really one of the the factors convincing everyone to take admission in SRM ,average package from the college is of around 10,00,000 which is really a very good amount in todays stresfull market.

Galgotias College Brutal Honest Review

I have applied for Bihar State Nalanda college, chandi. It gave me aerospace engineering. I didn't choose that because their course curriculum with their faculties and college culture is not fit for getting placement. I wanted some placement oppurtunities through my college and GCET is suitable for it because of their location and college culture. My admission process of my college is through direct admission as well as UPTAC counselling. Direct admission is for those who have low JEE ranks and outside of UP and are early comers. Counselling is for merit based admission for UP students generally with better JEE ranks than direct admission students....Read More

I have also applied for JIIT Noida, but couldn't able to get CSE branch. However, In greater noida, comparing to other private colleges, GCET is much better option because of its location, fee structure, campus size. Admission process happened through AKTU counselling, also 15% seats researved for direct admission as well.
