LPU, B.Tech, Computer Science and Engineering

Remarks

You should have to from 60% in12th class. You can find the application form from the LPUnest website, there are 1000 bucks for regestration. Yes, you can have reservation benefits like your father in the army you can 20%schoolarship. you can find LPU very good but there is very rush on stairs when you go to next can you can feel

Course Curriculum Overview

I love computers and new technology that's why I choose B.tech The ratio of students and faculty is about 72:1. Most of the faculty are PhD graduates and well experienced, ask students if they are having to doubt or not and tell them again. you can find a very hectic timetable of exams you should give 3 CA per subject yes they are pretty much hard but MTE and ETE are simply easy.

Class Size: 72Course Fees: INR 240000 per year

Internships Opportunities

3.5

You can start your internship in any company it is totally based on your talent like amazon, Microsoft, or any other local company. Their termly project made by you by the subject teacher and you have to submit it with in deadline. projects like Python, Java, HTML etc.

Placement Experience

3.5

students can sit in placements after the 5th semester. MNCs like Amazon, Microsoft, and Google more than 1200+ came for placement. the highest package is about 62 on college and about 5-6 lakh per avg. most of the students get placed about 80-90%. I am trying to get placed within B.Tech and grab a better job according to my qualification.

Fees and Financial Aid

you can find more than your local university but that is value for money and you can complete your B.tech within 16lakh including your residential serves and you can grab scholarships based on your board mark normally up to 50% and 100% if you are good in sports play for uni. etc.

Campus Life

Life is a very cool annual and tech fest is conducted per month many times there is a very big centre and high-tech library common for both girl and boy and small library are available in the hostel. high-tech and project-fitted classrooms all indoor and outdoor sports are available along with the swimming pool. there are special halls and stadiums for academic and social clubs there are some NGOs in LPU also.

Hostel Facilities

here you get AC\desert cooler according to you pay 1bed ,1study table , attached bathroom and washroom. normal meal not so good rice, seasonal vegetables, dhai, roti etc. online whole processor and fee vary b/w 75000 to 120000.

Hostel Fee: INR 85000 per year

Other Applied Colleges

Chandigarh University - [CU], Chandigarh | Bachelor of Engineering [BE] (Computer Science and Engineering)

Good Campus Life, Great Exposure, and Plenty of Opportunities at Chandigarh University

Likes

I like the infrastructure of the university it has a great campus and so many shops there stationary and canteens available here.
I like the security of the Chandigarh university is so good guards and the cctv cameras are all around the campus
I like the quality of study and the knowledge the faculty provide us during the lectures and practicals

Dislikes

I dont like the attendance criteria in this university.
In some of the subjects we have to maintain 90% attendance and that is difficult for the most of students
I dont like the number of lectures in per week in this course like i have 26 lectures per week in my course

Placement Experience:

Placements here in this college are really good. Before the placements they give us all the information about the rounds in placements in the form of seminars and also there are mock tests for the placements and the interview trainings before the placement drives and the AMCAT exam which is for the placements.

My Experince at Chandigarh University: Campus Life, Learning and Growth

Likes

The campus is beautiful, spacious, and offers good infrastructure with modern facilities.
The university provides good exposure to technical courses, eventrs , clubs, and extracurricular activities.
The campus has good labs, a library, and facilities that support students academic development.

Dislikes

The fees are high and losing a scholarship due to cgpa requirements can create a significant financial burden.
More personalized mentorship and regular career guidance sessions would help student prepare for their future carees.
more internship opportunities would further improve students professional growth.

Course Curriculum Overview:

the CSE curriculum covers relevant subjects and provides a good foundation programming and computer science. It prepares students for futher studies and careers, through more industry-based projects and practical learning would be bemigficial. Exams include MSTs and ESTs, with a manageable difficulty level through regi;ar preparation.

Chandigarh University the best university

Likes

college life of Chandigarh university is so good, all the events do happen .
teachers are so experienced and they are so supportive in here.
the placements in this university are great, all the big tech companies do visit while placements and provide jobs to the deserved students.

Dislikes

All the online courses should be reduced.
nothing is there in the university that is to dislike.
majority of the things are all good in our university.

Placement Experience:

The placemnets in the university starts from the 3 year only. companies comes in the 3rd year, students= can give interviews in this year, and they can get the NOC. wich means you can go for the job or the iinternship and there is no need to take the classes, because you are taking the indyustry level experience in the prior basis also.

A TOUR TO CGC LANDRAN

Likes

Events are more frequent here and most of the stars from punjabi industry are called more often for film promotions
No ragging is there infact seniors are friendly and try to help juniors
TPP (training and placement program) is provided that help students to crack placements

Dislikes

Attendance criteria (minimum 75 % is essential to maintain to be eligible to give exams)
Class timings are fixed from 9:15 to 4:35 and you can not enter in between 10 to 12:00 PM as gates are closed for this duration
Strength is rapidly increasing as new courses are introduced which increases competition during placements

Placement Experience:

Placements are decent, from 6th semester students become eligible for campus placement students need to enroll in TPP(Training and placement program) in order to get eligible for campus placement, Many companies visit our campus for eg Capgemini, LNT, ZSCALER, EDIFECS, AMAZON, PWC, WATCHGUARD TECHNOLOGIES etc overall above 200 offerrs are made to our senior batch with the highest package of 32LPA and average package of around 4.5LPA. more than 60% of students get placed . I am also sitting for campus placement and wish to get placed soon

College Life is Fun, Various activities and events happen in and around college, you got to know about others and crowd is also decent, Mostly Students are from northern regions that is Himachal Pradesh, Punjab, Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand .
Teachers are good and placement coordinators also help students to get good package on campus. a decent package can be bagged by a student if he/she seriously study and obtain a decent CGPA in exam. Make sure you clear all exams till 8th semester.
Infrastructure Is also good, laboratories are fitted with new desktops and campus size is also decent, Tuck shops and various Canteens are available inside the campus. Also Central Library is there inside the campus where students can study in exam t

Dislikes

The curriculum for 1st and 2nd semester is purely based on subjects that you studied in 11th and 12th, the advance versions of those topics are there in 1st and 2nd semester which make it difficult for students to get good grades.
The placement in other branches like Mechanical, electrical is mere, and one can face difficult in getting on campus placement if he/she belongs to these streams. Also Lack of practical knowledge is there in these streams, Theory is more focused.
If one opt for hostels, then the hostel facilities are not as good as it should be , the mess food is pathetic and one can face difficulty if he/she opt for hostel, also campartively hostel fees are also very high, whereas nearby Pg's are cheaper

Placement Experience:

placement is good in our college. Aveage package is 400000, and average package for cse stream is approx 500000. Various companies like alstom, infosys, accenture, TCS, Wipro, amazon, Walmart, JP Morgan chase and co. etc visit campus every year and recruit students. Approx 300+ companies visit campus and above 80% of cse students are placed but In other streams like ECE.EE and ME etc placements are campartively lower and students face difficulty in order to get placed. MY plan is job oriented i also want to get placed on campus and hope so i will get placed in a good company.
