Remarks

Admission can be done through UPTU counseling as well as direct admission can be taken. Counseling fees are 0 but you need to pay only after seat allotment if you want to take the seat allotted to you. You can also participate in more rounds after the seat is allotted.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course and curriculum are good, Facilities are of humble nature, Teacher loves to encourage students if they want to participate in any of the events happening in the College. Some Faculties are IIT graduates and many have done Ph.D. in the course they are teaching.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 109603 per year

Internships Opportunities

3.5

Internship opportunities are okay on our campus. If you want to do an internship then you need to find it on your own and if you failed to get any internship before 4th year then it is compulsory to do an internship the college provides internships where you need to pay some fees to get an internship.

Placement Experience

4.5

Placement is good at our campus, almost all every student is placed from all branches. The highest package is from CSE Branch. The highest package was 44 lakh known. The average package is about 4-5 lakhs and many are placed above 10 lakhs.

Fees and Financial Aid

At the time of admission 125603/- rupees including seat acceptance fees for one year. 7500/- Is taken by AKTU for semester exams as the college is AKTU affiliated. From the second year, the fee is 109603/- rupees. And 7500 exam fees. A total of 117603/- is required per year which is mandatory. A hostel facility is also available for 135000/- per year. Scholarships through the government are available for students but they are really hard to get.

Campus Life

Life is good on campus. The seniors are good, the teachers are helpful, Library has books available in it. If I talk about infrastructure then it is good in some classrooms and worst in some. Some are enabled with AC Projector etc. And some are in very poor condition like my own classroom. It is the worst classroom I have ever seen in my life. The tube light not working, the chairs were broken, etc. Clubs and Events are organized every month and the overall environment is good.

Other Applied Colleges

Vellore Institute of Technology - [VIT University] | Bachelor of Technology

Fees was so high

Overall Feedback for College - Admission , Placement , Course , Faculty , Events

Likes

the security is nice at my college like proper cctv and guards , apart from that labs , and my dept is too good. Ac classroom and labs
They have provided average placement like most of companies are mass hiring like tcs and accenture ..and only few companies come to offer big package
Infrastructure is good but there is need of reconstruction at some places the water is ticking in rain season continuously, and curriculum is okay okay not that much relevant to industry , they taught text books rather than the real practical cases

Dislikes

The examination checking - the student who is cr or having any relation with teachers got highest marks without writing the answer properly
The food canteen first of all the canteen is off from the past 1 or 2 year and now it reopen but it sells dirty food , waste foods
The college professor support , they are not that much supportive

Course Curriculum Overview:

coding I am interested in coding that why I offer this course It provide some courses but not all courses are related to real world they have to use practical examples and make students aware of the real industry According to me the time and frequency is okay of exam

What I See at SRM Ghaziabad

Likes

I really appreciated the college clubs and hackathons.
There are variety of events throughout the semester, something to always keep you on your feet.
Some of the faculties are really really experienced and have a unique approach that captures the attention of all the students.

Dislikes

Not many hotspots around campus to hang out after classes.
The infrastructure of the hostel can be improved a lot.
Food in mess is not great, the menu is not very diverse. Everything has aloo.

Placement Experience:

Placements are actually impressive with our college having the highest placement rate among others in the region. We usually achieve ~90% placement. We get opportunities from many large groups, such as Infosys, TCS, JPMC, BNY, Logitech, etc etc The list goes on. The highest package that I saw was of around 1Cr from a company I don't remember their name, but it was based out of SF and was a really great one. Average placement we see is around 12-20LPA packages.

The food may sometimes be not very good.
The campus has less places to spend some free time other than some spots.
Due to small academic hall places may look too crowded.

Placement Experience:

The placements in the college is really one of the the factors convincing everyone to take admission in SRM ,average package from the college is of around 10,00,000 which is really a very good amount in todays stresfull market.

Galgotias College Brutal Honest Review

I have applied for Bihar State Nalanda college, chandi. It gave me aerospace engineering. I didn't choose that because their course curriculum with their faculties and college culture is not fit for getting placement. I wanted some placement oppurtunities through my college and GCET is suitable for it because of their location and college culture. My admission process of my college is through direct admission as well as UPTAC counselling. Direct admission is for those who have low JEE ranks and outside of UP and are early comers. Counselling is for merit based admission for UP students generally with better JEE ranks than direct admission students....Read More

At the time of counselling, GCET is my 3rd preference as I have properly researched about it and matches with my eligibilty criteria as well. I have also applied for JIIT Noida, but couldn't able to get CSE branch. However, In greater noida, comparing to other private colleges, GCET is much better option because of its location, fee structure, campus size. Admission process happened through AKTU counselling, also 15% seats researved for direct admission as well. Exams like JEE mains and percentile above 85 is required for CS branch and vary according to course....Read More
