Remarks

Eligibility for taking admission is the UPSEE exam (in 2019) conducted by AKTU but direct admission is also taken on basis of 12th marks. If you want to take admission directly, you need to apply on galgotia college website or you may visit the campus.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

Faculty members are very helpful during 1st and 2nd years but after in 3rd year, the faculty become just gives lectures and does not worry about the students. During 4th year, the students become independent from faculties regarding what to do and what not.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 109000 per year

Placement Experience

4.5

Galgotia is brand in name of giving placement to about 100+ companies for CS/IT students approx 90% CS/IT students placed but only 45-50% cores branches studens get placement. Most of Software companies come at campus like Cognizant, Infosys, tcs, accenture, mindtree, L&T, DXC, Reliance, byju, IBM, flipr, grapecity and so on.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure is too nominal than other colleges. College doesn't provide scholarships but students can get scholarship from UP govt. or Central govt. by applying on their website and after submitting in college to forwarding to further departments.

Campus Life

3.5

Campus Life is very good for fresher students, there is no ragging on campus, no idea about the hostel because I never admit to the hostel. But some of my friends give me about boys doing too much nonsense at night in the hostel. Books are available for every semester, no need to buy books.

Other Applied Colleges

Ajay Kumar Garg Engineering College - [AKGEC] | Bachelor of Technology [B.Tech] (Mechanical Engineering)

I didn't get this college due to low marks in UPSEE exam.

Overall Feedback for College - Admission , Placement , Course , Faculty , Events

Likes

the security is nice at my college like proper cctv and guards , apart from that labs , and my dept is too good. Ac classroom and labs
They have provided average placement like most of companies are mass hiring like tcs and accenture ..and only few companies come to offer big package
Infrastructure is good but there is need of reconstruction at some places the water is ticking in rain season continuously, and curriculum is okay okay not that much relevant to industry , they taught text books rather than the real practical cases

Dislikes

The examination checking - the student who is cr or having any relation with teachers got highest marks without writing the answer properly
The food canteen first of all the canteen is off from the past 1 or 2 year and now it reopen but it sells dirty food , waste foods
The college professor support , they are not that much supportive

Course Curriculum Overview:

coding I am interested in coding that why I offer this course It provide some courses but not all courses are related to real world they have to use practical examples and make students aware of the real industry According to me the time and frequency is okay of exam

What I See at SRM Ghaziabad

Likes

I really appreciated the college clubs and hackathons.
There are variety of events throughout the semester, something to always keep you on your feet.
Some of the faculties are really really experienced and have a unique approach that captures the attention of all the students.

Dislikes

Not many hotspots around campus to hang out after classes.
The infrastructure of the hostel can be improved a lot.
Food in mess is not great, the menu is not very diverse. Everything has aloo.

Placement Experience:

Placements are actually impressive with our college having the highest placement rate among others in the region. We usually achieve ~90% placement. We get opportunities from many large groups, such as Infosys, TCS, JPMC, BNY, Logitech, etc etc The list goes on. The highest package that I saw was of around 1Cr from a company I don't remember their name, but it was based out of SF and was a really great one. Average placement we see is around 12-20LPA packages.

The campus has all basic facilities from food to stationary.

The food may sometimes be not very good.
The campus has less places to spend some free time other than some spots.
Due to small academic hall places may look too crowded.

Placement Experience:

The placements in the college is really one of the the factors convincing everyone to take admission in SRM ,average package from the college is of around 10,00,000 which is really a very good amount in todays stresfull market.

Galgotias College Brutal Honest Review

I have applied for Bihar State Nalanda college, chandi. It gave me aerospace engineering. I didn't choose that because their course curriculum with their faculties and college culture is not fit for getting placement. I wanted some placement oppurtunities through my college and GCET is suitable for it because of their location and college culture. My admission process of my college is through direct admission as well as UPTAC counselling. Direct admission is for those who have low JEE ranks and outside of UP and are early comers. Counselling is for merit based admission for UP students generally with better JEE ranks than direct admission students....Read More

I have also applied for JIIT Noida, but couldn't able to get CSE branch. However, In greater noida, comparing to other private colleges, GCET is much better option because of its location, fee structure, campus size. Admission process happened through AKTU counselling, also 15% seats researved for direct admission as well. Exams like JEE mains and percentile above 85 is required for CS branch and vary according to course....Read More
