DTU the heaven

To get admission to DTU, I write JEE MAINS in 2021 and participated in JAC counseling which was online. Once I got a seat in the 6th round I had to pay 106000 and then I also participated in the spot round (in 2021 it was online, but now it is held in offline mode in DTU). Then rest balance amount of 1 st year's fees(roughly 110000 more) I paid to the college and then the classes started online mode for one month. Later it was in physical mode.

So according to the cutoff (in General outside), I was getting mechanical and engineering physics and other lower branches so I choose Mechanical (it is the oldest branch of the college). Have the most prominent and well-profiled faculties. about 10-15 Professors and Associate professors and then also assistant professors all holding minimum of Ph.D. degree. Faculty to student ratio is not quite good. For 3 semesters exams were conducted very rapidly but now it is smooth.

Lots of internship opportunities are there in 3rd year by companies like Amazon, Facebook, Flipkart, Microsoft, and Tower research providing internships in Software development and Data Analyst Product management. Main skill required is to be massive knowledge of Data Structure and algorithms and your real-time projects on GitHub, etc.

DTU is mainly known for its outstanding and awesome Placements. Almost all big companies like Amazon, Facebook, Google, BCG, Morgan Stanley, Atlassian, Microsoft, PSUs, and all big firms visit the colleges for placements in Tech non-tech and core. Last year 97.45 percentage eligible students got placed with a high international package 1.8 CR and the highest domestic 66 LPA by Apple. The average Computer Engineering was about 22 LPA and the total average college was around 16 LPA.

The annual fee is approximately 220000. But there are lots of scholarship opportunities in college. If you belong to SC/ST you can apply for NSP(National Scholarship Portal). There are also Fee waiver scholarships provided by DTU guided by a serious interview by faculties along with your parents based on your financial status. The most common scholarship is the E-District scholarship by Delhi Government which gives a 100 percent waiver on tuition fees if you have a ration card. The loan facility is also available easily by SBI bank in dtu campus.

DTU is well known for its chill life, less academic load, and healthy culture. There are lots of clubs like CC(Cultural Council), Innova, and Yuvaan. The main fest is Engifest( one of the largest gathering fest in north India). A lot of revised books are available in the library ranging from various fields and interests. All the academic books you need you will find there. The sports facility is awesome. There is a sports complex with a badminton court, Football court, Basketball court, Cricket ground, Indoor badminton, table tennis, and gym.
