Parul University is a great university for computer science. College provides you with great education along with golden opportunities to enhance your other skills. Lots of companies visit to our campus from 3lakh to 26lakh

Course Curriculum Overview

There are weekly exams and mid-term exam which prepares you for the final sem exam. All the exams are conducted on time but due to covid most of the exams were online. Still, all exams were conducted on the online platform.

Internships Opportunities

There are fewer internship opportunities. I was doing an internship but I have applied it from online websites. You can get internships from many online sites like internsala and others. The college provides few internship opportunities within the college.

Fees and Financial Aid

I haven't received any scholarship but many students got one. There is an increase of 2 to 3k each year in fees. Lots of companies visit campus from the end of the 7th semester and I got selected for one with 6.5lakh CTC.

Campus Life

There are lots of fests celebrated here. The most famous fest of our college is Dhoom which is a cultural fest and Projection which is a technical fest. In projection students used to build robots, RC vehicles, drone racing and much more.

Hostel Facilities

The hostel facilities are great. It provides a hostel for boys as well as girls. In terms of security, it's great. The mess food is good too that depends on person to person but overall I feel it's good. There are lots of students who try to book a hostel so if you want to get a hostel try to book it early as possible. On the whole campus, you get free high-speed wifi.

PDEU , a Sweet n' Sour experience

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements from the 7th Semester and companies start visiting at that time. The no. of companies that visit are around 30+ and the highest package offered last time was around 25+ LPA. The average package is 7-8LPA. Some of the companies that visit are Accenture,TCS, Infosys, JP Morgan(students got placed from a Hackathon)

Gati Shakti Vishwavidhyalaya: A true blend of speed and power of knowledge

Placement Experience:

Placement is there and around 92-95% students get placed every year which is quite good in current economy. Highest package offered was 12LPA which is decent for aa college openend less than a decade ago. Average package is around 6LPA to 7LPA. There is no restrictions in semester in which a student can apply for placement but usually 3rd and 4th year students are the one applying. My plan after degree is higher studies in colleges like Monash etc

At PDEU, CSE isn't that decorated stream as its more of an engineering college related to energy and therefore companies like Reliance, Adani Green, GSFC and others have made tie-ups with it. However, many IT companies too now have associated with our placements cell and average for our stream is currently around 7 LPA.

Placement Experience:

The placement are one of the best in Gujarat for chemical engineering as the average package is on the higher side, at 6,50,000 and the highest package has reached 16,00,000. - students are eligible from the 7th semester for placement - some companies that have visited are Reliance Atul Bear L&T G.S.F.C Etc - around 70% of the batch was placed last year. - my plan is to prepare for Gate examination after/around my graduation.
