Remarks

The admission process is now based on CUET score and the entire admission process is online. For admission in this course, one needs to have chosen commerce or science stream in 12th of the respective board. The admission process is entirely online and no need to physically visit the college until admission is approved.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

I have chosen this course because I am parallelly pursuing a Chartered Accountancy course and the syllabus coincides up to an appreciable degree. The faculty-student ratio is about 1:60 in our course. The faculty is overall good and able to understand students. There are some exceptions that are acceptable. Some of them teach in an awesome manner while some are kind of doing book reading. There are 6-semester exams and in each semester we have to study 4 subjects. The exams are held in a timely manner with prior notice of 3 months. The paper is set by Delhi University and therefore it's neither too easy nor too tough to pass.

Fees and Financial Aid

My admission fee was 7855 INR. They charge an exam fee for each exam and if there is any practical subject then 200 INR is extra for each subject. During the second year, the fee is 10250 so it's logical to conclude that the fee hike takes place on yearly basis. There are many scholarships available for students. Some are need-based and some are merit-based. Delhi University has also announced a fee waiver scheme for EWS students.

Campus Life

4.5

Fest is conducted by multiple societies during the year-end. The library is very rich in terms of books and almost all the major newspapers and journals could be found here. Some classrooms are traditional while some are having facility of projector display. Sports activities are conducted annually by the student groups and some inter-college tournaments are also conducted. There is an NCC wing for students interested in NCC. The playground is big enough to conduct any major sports event with a separate court for basketball. There is a grievance committee and anti-ragging committee in the college, though no such need arises to approach such committee.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course provides a comprehensive image of finance and management, though after NEP, the curriculum seems a little irrelevent. The exams are conducted twice in a year, 2 sems per year, they conduct mid sem exams as well.
