Remarks

The admission process is very easy you have to appear in to jee exam for the engineering stream and the cutoff may vary from year to year. eligibility to appear for Jee main examination is if you have passed the 10+2 system from any recognised board if belong to any category then apply for that and then make your category certificate for benefit.

Course Curriculum Overview

I have been interested in the field of cyber security so I want to explore new the fields of computer science and engineering and cyber security that's why I choose this course the student-faculty ratio is also many of the faculty members are PhD and they are very good in their teaching.

Class Size: 75Course Fees: INR 98700 per year

Internships Opportunities

4.5

Nitp also provides internship opportunities like summer internships &many more and The summer internship was funded by SERB-DST, Government of India titled - “Application of Microbial Induced Calcite Precipitation (MICP) in Stabilizing Coal Ash”. The selected intern will receive INR 5,000 per month. And also 5 students get internships in Atlassan company

Placement Experience

4.5

Placements are improving every year. In the recent placements (2021) batch, the overall placement percentage was 80%. For the EE department, it was 70%. Many students target software roles. The highest package was 30 LPA, the lowest 5 LPA and avg was 8 LPA. Top recruits include Godrej, Oyo, Paytm, Deloitte, Mindtree, Zs Associates, American Express etc. Internship opportunities are fewer in comparison to other Nits. College helps students in getting internships.

Fees and Financial Aid

My college is govt college so the fees are approx 98000 & there are many scholarship schemes like post matrix scholarship, many others scholarships and the cost to study btech is 10 lack approx and the college provides many paid internship

Campus Life

4.5

The college campus is nice and beautiful. You will get the vibe of old is gold. The college campus is fully residential but if you are from Patna, Bihar then less chance of you getting hostels. Brahmaputra, Kosi, and Soan are boys' hostels while Ganga is a girls' hostel. The library is well-equipped with Wi-Fi facilities all over the campus. Labs are well-built and fully equipped. Mess food is far better than most NITs. Medical insurance is provided for college students. Dhyan hand stadium is there.

Hostel Facilities

In 1st year students gave 2 /3 shared rooms in sone hostel and they provide beds, an almirah, a study table and overall mess food is good and registration process is very simple and you get a hostel if belong to an outside state

Hostel Fee: INR 26500 per year

The campus area is extended in approx 50 acares. The campus provide greenery environment which is better for health of student.

Dislikes

The campus is situated far from the Motihari city which result in lack of conectivity with market.
The college campus has much forest area due to it, you can see wild animal like Nil Gay and Snake in campus .
The college is situated 2 km away from the national highway, due to which you face difficulty in traveling in evening after 6 pm .

Course Curriculum Overview:

I has chossen B. tech in Civi Engineering due to I want to do feild work. Civil Engineering branch is one of the oldest branch and base of all branch. The curiculam prepares me for real-world application or further academic pursuits by dealing hard numericals problem , Civil Engineering branch involves strong team work because any mistake in civil engineering team work result loss of life, money and time. The course is improved by providing strong computer application to civil engineering students and involving AI to this branch. In engineering you can face exam any time so you always ready for any examination and apply the daily study routine to life.

I think some of the things which is going wrong like they shifted to new campus which is under construction and we are living in dustfull campus and noise from that, in exam time their work in my hostel as felt like some is belling in my head overall frustration. Admission process of my college is very simple as the most of the documents required as usual and simple verification process like income certificate validation through rtps website of Bihar government as it is issued or not like that.
