Good academic environment for lifelong learning

My college is well n good but infrastructure is not so nice. It is having small campus in which a university is also built which occupies space and very less is left for college. Rest of the thinks is ok.

I have got admission in this college through wbjee examination. In Wbjee counselling i put the colleges according to my choice. Thus according to my rank i got this college college with civil branch.

Its really nice. Advance lab with all the equipment are available. It is one of best college for civil engineering in Bengal. They focus for all round development of students. It provide fsp programs for 1 week in which different things are thought related to syllabus. College help us to provide industrial training which is very good for development.

Internship no. My college does not provide internship only training. Training is done after 6th sem. If a student wants to do internship he or she can go outside the college and search for internship from himself and do it.

Placements are quite good. Tcs, wipro, deloitte and few more companies come for placement. Mainly 40%-50% of students are placed in Tcs in which 6.85 cgpa is required for attaining aptitude test for company and then interview. Other companies have different criteria. Tcs provide package of 3.5 to 4 lakhs p.a. on an average.

Every year fest is held in our college one is technical and other is non technical. Technical one is know as edge in which different competition are held for student in which different student from different colleges take part and win prizes. It is held in march starting. Other is anakronash which is held in February in this dance and fashion show competition are held. In this different college student take part. This is one of the best feast in Bengal.

Fees are feasible. They take semester fees for every sem in advance and before exam the 1000 rs examination fees. Sem fees are feasible which near about 60k for first sem and 50k for second sem. For the rest of them it is near about 40k which is feasible for private engineering college. Examination fees we have to submit every time before giving semester examination. So, fees are feasible in my respect of view.

No, scholarship or loan facilities are not provided by our college. we have to taken loan from outside the college i.e. from banks. Scholarship also provide from outside the college.

Campus life is well n good. Every students are free to take part in extra curricular activities, sports, competition. Competition are held every time in college in different fields. Sports like cricket, football, volleyball, badminton and so on are famous here and competition is held every year like ticl and anakronsh tournament reloaded and edge for learning view robotics and other competition are held.

There no hostel for the college. Every student has to live outside the college premises in other private hostels or pg ran by local people which has lowest coast of 5k every month and rest higher which is feasible for you. There is no hostel ran by college. Food for outside hostel n pg are eatables neither too tasty nor too pathetic. Local hostel are also good for students.

Seniors are very good, friendly and always helpful. Thy guide in a better way in best directions. Its ragging free campus but with restrictions therefore if we are nice to them and they are also good to us. Seniors help us in every field, Inside outside college campus. If we are having any problem then directly go to seniors for solution and they provide better paths for us.

Like all other colleges exam pattern is same in this College. There are 8 semesters in which 8 external written and practical examination are held with 16 internal exam are taken 2 in each sem. We have to submit projects and assignments regularly whenever required to do. At sem examination held after each semester cgpa is given according one year cgpa is calculated and at last cgpa is calculated for 4 year.

I got admission through Wbjee counselling according to my Wbjee rank. I put all my colleges with branches preferred and locked by me. After first i got different college but i transferred it for upgradation and finally after 3rd round counselling i got this college with civil branch. After all this i took admission here.

Faculty are very friendly to us. They help us in every aspects. They provide all the note and books which are helpful to us. They gave us all the knowledge which they think is good for us. They sometimes teaches us with the advance projection like the smart class and videos. Faculties are well n good.
