Remarks

The eligibility for this course is class 12th with minimum 90% marks . The students can also apply by JEE MAINS .The rank on that exam decide the branch you would get . Their are certain seats reserved as for SC , ST , PWD .

Course Curriculum Overview

This course has fascinated me and I want to be the part of IT world. The faculty and student ratio is respectful i.e the students can freely ask doubts . It also depends from branch to branch. Most of the teachers are MTech passed and many are doing their PHD . In each semester their are 2 sessional tests and 1 pre University test . These test are timely taken and level is quite moderate

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 150000 per year

Internships Opportunities

In 3rd year companies offers internships to students here . Like macquel , TCS and many more comes and offers . The range of payings are from 1000 to 5000 on a project. Again it depends from project to project.

Placement Experience

2.5

From 3rd year itself student are ready for placements . Last year a boy has got 1.3 crore package in Google . 27 students has 25LPA in Amazon. Adobe , TCS , HCL also comes here . The average package last year was 6 LPA overall. In CSE everyone has got placed and hope so it has happened in other branches too. My plan is to be in Microsoft.

Fees and Financial Aid

Nearly 1,50,000 is the semester fees for general category . These fees are inclusive of all . The scholarship can be applied from the government for each year where nearly Student gets 50,000 back from the government each year.

Campus Life

Life in this college is quite boring. Here their is no fest at all apart from the FRESHER'S . The library is quite well maintained. This college also focuses on sports . Besides this college ranks 1st in AKTU under sports. Their are many societies like for technical, dance , music , acting and many more.

Interview Experience

2.5

Yes here every week their is Personal Development classes(PDP) where topics as Group Discussion, Interview is covered. Here in PDP the teachers are from MNC's and motivational speakers . Topics covered for group discussions are like Reservation criteria, girls education, English is important or not , etc We all practice these things day by day and it helps us a lot

Overall Feedback for College - Admission , Placement , Course , Faculty , Events

Likes

the security is nice at my college like proper cctv and guards , apart from that labs , and my dept is too good. Ac classroom and labs
They have provided average placement like most of companies are mass hiring like tcs and accenture ..and only few companies come to offer big package
Infrastructure is good but there is need of reconstruction at some places the water is ticking in rain season continuously, and curriculum is okay okay not that much relevant to industry , they taught text books rather than the real practical cases

Dislikes

The examination checking - the student who is cr or having any relation with teachers got highest marks without writing the answer properly
The food canteen first of all the canteen is off from the past 1 or 2 year and now it reopen but it sells dirty food , waste foods
The college professor support , they are not that much supportive

Course Curriculum Overview:

coding I am interested in coding that why I offer this course It provide some courses but not all courses are related to real world they have to use practical examples and make students aware of the real industry According to me the time and frequency is okay of exam

What I See at SRM Ghaziabad

Likes

I really appreciated the college clubs and hackathons.
There are variety of events throughout the semester, something to always keep you on your feet.
Some of the faculties are really really experienced and have a unique approach that captures the attention of all the students.

Dislikes

Not many hotspots around campus to hang out after classes.
The infrastructure of the hostel can be improved a lot.
Food in mess is not great, the menu is not very diverse. Everything has aloo.

Placement Experience:

Placements are actually impressive with our college having the highest placement rate among others in the region. We usually achieve ~90% placement. We get opportunities from many large groups, such as Infosys, TCS, JPMC, BNY, Logitech, etc etc The list goes on. The highest package that I saw was of around 1Cr from a company I don't remember their name, but it was based out of SF and was a really great one. Average placement we see is around 12-20LPA packages.

The food may sometimes be not very good.
The campus has less places to spend some free time other than some spots.
Due to small academic hall places may look too crowded.

Placement Experience:

The placements in the college is really one of the the factors convincing everyone to take admission in SRM ,average package from the college is of around 10,00,000 which is really a very good amount in todays stresfull market.

The students could come through counselling or Cbse 12th percentage i.e management, counselling is done on JEE scores and 12th percentage should be more than 75-80% in PCM for unreserved prolly...Read More

Inside AKGEC Life

1) I had applied for colleges like jss noida,gl bajaj , kiet , akgec through UPTAC counselling for those who gave JEE Exam. i preferred this college because after reading reviews about it ,consulting senior students. 2) I could get this college based on my rank . I could not make it to other colleges because of their high cutoff for the CSE branch. 3) admission process includes direct admission where students are admiitted based on 10th,12th score and branches are alloted based on their score, 2nd is through the uptac counselling for students who want to get admission through JEE Score. overall admission experience was good....Read More

so bascially i didn't choose this college . i did mistake in my uptac counselling and get this college but when i studied here and seen all the aktu colleges i prefer this is good because it ranked 3 in up colleges .the college is ranked 3 in whole up and its naac A++ so yes its a great college so to get admission in akgec there are two ways by 10+2 percentage marks or by uptac counselling you have to fill your choices in uptac counselling so fill it very carefully without any mistake so the overall to get any cs/it branch your jee percentile should be above 88 and below that you can get any other core branches....Read More
