Remarks
You need to qualify for Jee mains to apply for this college. The application process is taken care of by JOSSA Counseling. You have to keep an eye out for that. There are reservations based on caste as well as physical disability. The best thing is it is done by JOSSA, so counseling is pretty fair.
Course Curriculum Overview
The main motivation was placements. I choose mechanical engineering due to my interests though I would suggest someone choose circuital branches if he/she doesn't have a particular interest in any core courses like mechanical, civil, or chemical. The student ratio In my class for males and females is 1:5. Faculties are highly qualified with post-doctoral degrees from good colleges both national and international. There are two exams in a semester. One is mid-sem and the other is End-sem. Exams are pretty strict, to be honest, but if you have heard in class or gone through your syllabus, passing won't be an issue. I have 9.33/10 till my 7th semester.
Internships Opportunities
The major companies which I have mentioned for placements also allow people for internships. They offer Engineering Intern or SDE intern roles. Project outcomes are mostly confidential and the stipend ranges from 30000-125000 per month. Although the number of core opportunities is pretty less compared to the software industry.
Placement Experience
From the 5th semester onwards, you are eligible to sit for internships and from the 7th semester onwards you are eligible for placements. Companies like Microsoft, Tata steel, Google, Qualcomm, and a lot of other top-tier companies visit our college. The highest package is around 52 LPA and the average is about 12 LPA. The percentage of people placed is around 96-97%. I am taking placement after my degree.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee hike is not extreme. I came to know the tuition fee is constant throughout all the semesters. Coming to the hostel fee, it is hiking 2000-3000 per year. It includes medical and other extracurricular activity fees.
Campus Life
Fests are very rich in our college. The Techfest Innovision is one of the biggest fests in eastern India which takes place in October. The cultural fest is Nitrutsav which happens at the end of March. We have a huge library with modern facilities for finding books and journals. The classroom has every possible amenity like Mic, projector, and air conditioning. We have more than 80 societies for sports and extracurricular activities.
Hostel Facilities
Our room has a bed, desk, and chair. It has a cupboard for keeping your things. The meal is decent and the menu is diverse containing food from south Indian to North Indian. Food quality is decent. In the last 4 years, I have seen the quality of food going on decreasing. You have to stay in a hostel, there are no PG scenarios as it is a fully residential college.

It is ranked among the top nits in India. Moreover it's NIRF ranking is great. Coming to placement stats, it has a decent placement scenario and It has a great and beautiful campus. You will fall in love with the campus
