Remarks

As a student, the admission process for my course was relatively straightforward. To be eligible for the course, I had to meet the minimum academic requirements set by the institution, which included having a certain grade point average in my previous studies. The application fees and application dates were also clearly stated on the website. I did not avail myself of any reservation benefits for my course, as I did not meet the criteria for any of the reserved categories.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

I have found the course curriculum for my program to be well-structured and comprehensive. The subjects covered in the course provide a strong foundation in the field and are relevant to my career goals. I chose this course because I was interested in pursuing a career in this field and felt that the program offered at this institution would provide me with the necessary knowledge and skills to succeed. The faculty-student ratio in my course is relatively low, which has allowed for more individualized attention and support from the professors. The faculty members for my course are highly qualified and have a wealth of experience in their respective fields. They use a variety of teaching methods, including lectures, discussions, and practical exercises, to engage and challenge students.

Internships Opportunities

4

I have found the internship opportunities available with my college to be very good. The college has a strong network of industry partners and alumni who offer internships to students in various fields. In the past, several well-known companies have offered internships to students at the college. These internships have been in a range of roles, including marketing, finance, and engineering. The stipend offered for these internships has been competitive, and many students have been able to gain valuable work experience and skills development through these opportunities. Overall, I have found the internship opportunities available with my college to be valuable and enriching experiences, and I believe that they have helped me to prepare for my future career.

Placement Experience

4.5

Students become eligible for campus placements from the fifth semester of their course. In the past, several well-known companies have visited the campus to recruit students. These companies have made several offers to students in various profiles, such as marketing, finance, and engineering. The highest package offered to students at the college in the past has been very competitive, and the average package has also been very good. The profiles offered to students have been diverse, and many students have been able to secure their dream jobs through the campus placement process. Overall, a significant percentage of students at the college have been able to secure placements through the campus placement process. For those students who are not able to secure campus placements, the college offers career counseling and support to help them explore other employment opportunities or further education options.

Fees and Financial Aid

I have found the fee structure for my course to be reasonable and comparable to other institutions in the region. The fees cover the cost of tuition, as well as other expenses such as textbooks and materials. The institution offers a range of scholarships and financial assistance programs to help students cover the cost of their studies. These programs are based on academic merit, financial need, and other factors. I was fortunate enough to receive a scholarship based on my academic performance, which has helped to significantly reduce the cost of my studies. In addition to scholarships, the institution also provides students with the opportunity to work on campus in various roles. These campus jobs offer a stipend and can provide valuable work experience and skills development. I have held a campus job in the past and found it to be a rewarding experience

Campus Life

4.5

As a student, I have found life at the campus to be enjoyable and enriching. The campus is a vibrant and welcoming community, with a variety of activities and events to participate in. The annual fest at the campus is called "VIBGYOR" and it is a highly anticipated event that brings together students, faculty, and staff from across the institution. VIBGYOR is a celebration of culture, art, and diversity, and it offers a wide range of activities and performances that cater to different interests and tastes. The campus library is well-stocked with a wide selection of books and journals on a variety of subjects. The library is a popular and convenient place for students to study and research, and it is open for extended hours to accommodate different schedules. The classrooms at the campus are equipped with modern amenities and technology, which enhances the learning experience of students. There are also several clubs and organizations that students can join, depending on their interests.

Placement Experience:

From 4th sem itself students are eligible for placements. Although students get access to paid internships from their 1st year itself, just they need some effort. But as NIAT is yet new and no batch has passed out yet so we still don't have the exact placement percentage rate. But as we are getting paid internships from 1st year itself so it's very evident that placement would also be good

No batch has graduated yet so there's no record of placement data yet. But more than 200 students got internships. Also the unique point of NIAT is students gets internships from their 1st year itself. NIAT has connection in the industry also its unique teaching style, this allows 1st year students to get internships. Although there is no pass out batch yet, still many people got placed in good companies.

Course Curriculum Overview:

My college course curriculum is outdated .As im studying in computer science and engineering,i wpuld love to study about technological aspects and grow as a software engineering but in the course curriculam they teach my about mechanical workshops,There were no practical experience it jsut understanding the concept with theoritical part . i would love lo code but my college wastes entire time by helping with electricals, meachanical basics. i dont think is it really necessary for me understand in all the feilds they think that student should perform in all the fields as im in computer science and engineering student ,They should teach me more about coding and computer ,how it industries works and how these technology enhacning ,the arenot even explore about all these sectos they only teaching me about fundametals of all the subjects which is never useful for my studies . as i am in final year of btech i thought learning and deepdiving into computerscience and engineering subjects is more greater than learning all sector fundamentals,The area they need to improve is removing some of the oudated syllabus from their ciricullum and enhcing with the pratical experience not to teach only theoritical part. they have to teach all the areas with realtime examples. The timings of exams is very good .we do have 2 mid exams and one semester final exams for each sem and the subjects feels meduim level difficulty

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements after their 6th semester. The companies start visiting in 7th and 8th semesters. The companies are not much good and are mostly service based. So the placement statistics are also not much good. The highest placement last year was 10 lpa and the median placement was around 4.1 lpa. The placements were starting from 2.5 lpa. The better option for students is to apply for off-campus placements or start preparing for competitive exams
